Exactly. I like McLean. He's a good player. But in his 350 games has he done what Gilmour has done in his last two? I think even Kenny would admit that the answer is no.

I guess to calculate the risk you have to look at him in comparison to who would miss out because of him? Kenny McLean? I mean, he is solid, but he cannot do what Gilmour has done in the last week. I'm willing to bet Gilmour can do what McLean does when he's not on top form.

It passed you by. Before his injury he was outstanding for Villa, especially in the first 10-15 games of the season. Go back and have a look at MOTD and you'll see the pundits lavishing praise on him. In one episode I remember they actually had a segment highlighting why he was so important to the team. Then there was the reports that Man Utd were very interested in him. I'm not sure I trust the veracity of them, but they are not completely unbelievable and it was so high profile I'm surprised you completely missed it. Finally, he's scored 7 goals in his last 5 Scotland starts. John McGinn is a player.

That's good to hear. I did love his attitude and performance in the last game. Hopefully he can get a move somewhere serious soon (SquirrelHumper baiting). Cooper will almost certainly be playing in the EPL 6 months from now. It will be interesting to see how he gets on there.

Yeah, I dont expect to see him in this squad at all, but I'm still holding out hope of seeing him in a Scotland jersey again one day.

I like this team a lot! I think it could be even better if KT comes out of international retirement and plays at right back. Genuinely the best looking 11 in quite a few years. Added to that you have the favtbwe could sub on Armstrong, Forrest, and Fleck.

He has more goals than any other Scot in the EPL (apart from Fleck who also has 5), and he has more assists than any other Scot in the EPL other than Robbo, who has 7 but only 1 goal.

Bear in mind 14 assists in the EPL was truly exceptional.

I'm not sure he's actually the worst. He appeals to the moderates and black voters. I could see him asking Warren to join the ticket. That would be a strong pair that could give Trump a proper go.
