  1. It's all very well having a plan but having the players to put it into practice is another story. Certainly don't have anybody else as explosive as Tierney. When Robertson and Tierney didn't play against Norway the drop in the quality of our attacking was very very noticeable. If we have our strongest team i think we can do well... If not i think we might struggle.
  2. Agree it must be getting more and more frustrating for him. Here's hoping he can shake this one of within a couple of months or so.Obviously such a huge loss for us.When he isn't there it really changes the way we play.Takes away such a big part of our attacking play.Fingers crossed.
  3. Yeah.Between 750-1000 probably.Amsterdam probably sell the tickets we get for that.Would imagine that would be between 2000-2500.The fact it is Amsterdam and also it isn't so close to the euros.
  4. Going to Amsterdam but if i have to miss a game Gilbraltar away in a friendly is certainly top of the list of games that i won't lose sleep over missing. 😂
  5. Is this for real? How is it possible for a guy to get injured so much.Trouble is it always seems to be a long term serious one.Can only hope it isn't a hamstring.Saying that Salah got a bad hamstring playing for Egypt but they seem to think he would only be out for 3-4 weeks.
  6. That's my plan as well. So Faro is a definate no go for me.
  7. Because of the euros and all that entails regarding money and time etc wasn't even going to go to Amsterdam. Eventually decided to go but this one in Faro is just a step too far and way too close to a minimum 12 days in Germany. Would be surprised if we took many more than 750 to 1000.
  8. Not a problem if you don't like making the effort and have the cash but i sort of agree with you to be honest. All part of the adventure as far as i'm concerned. Then again i'm old school Scotland fan. 1990 world cup in Italy on a bus(no toilet) from Glasgow to Rimini as a base. Then 4 hours to Genoa to arrive 30 minutes before kick off then straight back on bus after game for another 4 hours back to Rimini. Ah.. those were the days. 😅😎😅
  9. That's not the same bubble that contains Adams and Dykes by any chance?🤣
  10. Must have been different games than i have seen him in. Scored and was good when helping out at the back. Nothing startling but solid enough and definately not honking.
  11. Well said that man. Very commited to Scotland when certain others weren't. He was unlucky with the couple that hit the woodwork. To write him off is daft in the extreme. Let's be honest that no matter what they say the truth is a lot don't like McBurnie because of his look or demeanor never mind his ability or lack of.
  12. Good one. No matter what way you look at it you could never think that many on this forum want him back. You would have to be let's say confused to come to that conclusion.
  13. I realise that a lot of our goals come from midfield but surely to have strikers who are scoring goals adds to our threat. Shankland if he keeps in his current form is a must. As for people clambering for i take it you are meaning McBurnie to get a recall!... What forum are you looking at? It certainly isn't this one. That's for sure. 🤔🤔
  14. Well aware that most on this board have a real hatred of McBurnie but Jacob Brown.... really? Still say i don't actually remember McBurnie missing any clear cut chances. At the time he played most of his games we were struggling to create many real chances. Brown runs about a lot but not sure when the chances come he could be relied upon to score. Norway game is a perfect example. Anyway Shankland is the guy who must be given a start in the friendlies that are coming up. Not sure Clarke fancies Shankland though. Just think that going to the euros with Dykes, Adams and Brown wouldn't be a good idea.
  15. ... but.somehow apparantely Jacob Brown does. 😳😳
  16. The trip we arranged is basically the same intinerary as the wonky sheep. 4 nights in each host city. Only real difference is the direct flights from Scotland. We are flying to Munich via london and home from Stuttgart to glasgow via Amsterdam. Compared to some of the journeys in the past that is fairly painless. Saving about £700 for the sake of a couple of connecting flights seems well worth it. However i realise some people really want direct flights and have the dosh to spare. No problem. 👍
  17. That should be 12 nights.
  18. Yes. I made the same point in an earlier post. 14 nights in Germany. 4 in Munich, 4 in Cologne and 4 in Stuttgart plus train from Munich to Cologne and from Cologne to Stuttgart plus 3 match tickets. All for roughly £850 - £900.Obviously not direct flights from Glasgow but sort of used to getting to a venue usually via London. I understand some people like the direct flights from Scotland option. If you have the money then good luck to you. Certainly not the most expensive charter company but also certainly not cheap. Suppose cheap is relative to your budget. As long as we all get there it doesn't matter how. 👍😄
  19. The tickets have been on sale on the Netherlands fa website for weeks.

    New jersey

Do we come under the banner of a smaller team then? I can't believe it takes 18months to come up with the bog average non descript efforts that we have seen in recent years.
  21. They go on sale on the 17th(which if they go on sale from midnight will be 11pm tonight over here). Don't think there is a code involved. Just a case of going onto the dbhann site i think and buying. Certainly don't remember a code.
  22. Good long list there. Any chance you might find a Scot in any of them though? 😂😂
  23. Must have jumped up recently as i got mine for 21 euros a couple of weeks ago.
