  1. No revelations tonight. I think in short, I was delighted about how good McGregor and Snodgrass were. Surprised how good Tony Watt was. A little bit dismayed how bad Andrew Robertson was ( hopefully a one off )
  2. I thought Mulgrew and Snodgrass showed an ability to deliver a killer ball that I doubt anyone else in our squad has. I'm not sure I share everyone else's enthusiasm over McCormack. I thought he did great at the goal but was otherwise underwhelmed.
  3. That was great although we didn't do anything really different from what we normally do. Some good performances apart from Robertson who was gash!
  4. Saying your vote is up for grabs over a few quid IS a pretty Tory thing to do tbf
  5. If your vote is so easily swayed by few pounds a week either way I would argue you're pretty devoid of principles!
  6. It's hardly gonnae ruin you though is it? Typical Aberdonian, every penny's a prisoner!
  7. Ehhhm Alan ehhhm Stubbs for ehhhm Celtic.Naw, I'd keep Ronny first!!!
  8. All jokes aside I feel your pain lad. I need a drink to watch the game these days!
  9. Stunner from Rogic can't paper over the cracks, Ronny out!
  10. I honestly can't believe how low we've sunk! If anyone seriously doubts Aberdeen can win the league or we could lose to Rangers they are deluded.
  11. Anyway we are in danger of hijacking an Aberdeen thread here. Is there not a tamb rule against that?
  12. Aye that's the ticket! We'll leave the death threats and intimidation to you lot ;-)
  13. Don't worry, we'll be fine. We are used to handling triumph and disaster in equal measure.
  14. They'll get it when we hump the zombies in the cup, definitely ;-)
  15. If you can't beat them join them ya big wet blanket. You might end up enjoying yourself, God forbid!
  16. Happy St.Patrick's day from all the plastic Paddy's....you know you love us all really!
  17. I agree. Poor Ronny looks haunted every time I see him now. He must know the gig is up and yet somehow he has to win a double but frankly it's a mess of his own making and one he's being handsomely paid for. As for Moyes, you can make a case for and against him. We do need someone to stand up to the board. After Martin O'Neil left, the powers that be vowed that no manager would hold sway the way he did again. It wasn't unusual for M O'N to bypass Quinn or Lawell and go straight to Desmond to get his way in some matter or other. Things have gone so far the other way it's become ridiculous and the current manager is no more than a glorified coach.....and no a very good one at that!
  18. After realising Trafalgar Square is probably gonna be a no go I plumped for in and out flights with BA. Fly down early Friday and back lunchtime Saturday. I'm not sure how much they are now but when I booked they were around £100
  19. When you're wearing the hoops you're one of the bhoys. When you're not you're fair game, sorry but thats how it is. Some people booed Larsson when he came with Barcelona!
  20. In a lot of these cases the parent club are still paying a percentage of the players wages. You could end up in a situation where you are paying money to someone who's trying to inflict defeat on you. I can't think of many clubs who'd be happy with that arrangement. In the case of Bangoura Celtic didn't bother with a clause as they mistakenly thought it unlikely they would meet Elfsborg competitively. I don't think it's something they would leave to chance again. Of course if Partick Thistle were unhappy with the terms no one's forcing them to take the boy, but I suspect they were happy to get a talented young lad knowing he would miss one game.
