  1. Most of the Celtic fans I know are quite happy as they had Kevin Bridges tickets that night at the Hydro 😀
  2. Gun crime is supposed to be out of control in Chicago. How come naebodys popped you yet? 😀
  3. Resorting to pretty dreadful patter isnae helping u, time tae log oot. Use the time to study the actual laws of the game. You might learn something 👍
  4. Let me break down for u. McKenna came in at pace, from the side, two footed, leading with his studs and landed almost waist high. The very definition of a red card. If anyone is taking pish it's you fella 👍
  5. Aye, maybe he is, definitely not a victim though. I've never seen him commit the sort of cowardly challenge the likes of Andrew Davies put in on him last season or fly two footed and out of control the way McKenna did on Saturday. Plays on the edge at times and gives as good as he gets 👍
  6. Again absolute pish. The worst tackles I saw last season were on Scott Brown, not by him. I dunno what goggles your wearing but youre havering pish. No doubt the usual suspects will be along soon to defend your opinion on Broony. 👍
  7. I've seen some amount of pish on this board at times but this is up there. McKenna is lucky he wisnae up on an assault charge. I can see why the sheep have appealed it though as Madhun couldn't possibly have missed it. I'd far rather see that dick demoted. I've said it before, he will end up ending someone's career with the type of challenges he allows.
  8. You have to wonder what BT are making of all this. They're a relatively new partner in our game and the hope they might take over coverage completely from Sky has been expressed on here and other forums. They must be wondering what the hell they'd be getting themselves into! 😵
  9. Got a real hard on about that haven't you? Of course I didn't hear any cunt complain about it years ago when the East stand was uncovered and we used to get pished upon from the heavens on a regular basis 😏
  10. Good post 👍 and I totally agree, especially on the effect on the crowd. My point was more that this arrangement doesn't really suit anyone particularly. Some of the other hysteria over it though reminds me of the predictions of a 'Donnybrook' the time we played Rangers at Hogmanay. It wasn't and neither will this be.
  11. Aye, I get that but I wouldn't have thought stewards have that power?
  12. At the last two home games I've been asked by a steward to see inside my sporran. Not an issue as I wasn't carrying anything I shouldn't have been. I'm just wondering if they have the right to do this and whether they can deny me entry should I refuse. Anyone up on the terms and conditions or legal aspect of this? I'm just wondering as I can't recall this happening before but it seems to be standard practice at the turnstiles now?
  13. Some amount of bedwetting going on here. The sheep can't get to Glasgow for kick off? Feck off and get a supporters bus or a lift. Glasgow fans have to do this in reverse for nearly every game at Todders. As for the diets not getting home till late on a Sunday? Again feck off, it's only Embra! Plenty of Celtic/Rangers fans will be travelling much further so let's not pretend this suits anyone any more or less. The scheduling is at fault here and another example of the fucked up governance of our game but spare us the poor me pish!
  14. The whataboutery doesn't excuse the sheep. They behaved like scummy bastards last night, end of! 👊
  15. Anywhere in Matthew Street is buzzing especially the big wetherspoons which you could spend all night in. It reminded me of the one in Cardiff which was basically pub/restaurant/ nightclub rolled into one. The Peaky Blinders pub is a novelty if you're a fan of the show but otherwise not great. If you like Chinese food there are some cracking eateries in Chinatown, reasonable too,, just ask a local. Edited to add there's a big inflatable assault course wipeout style down near Albert Dock if you're looking for something different. We did it on a stag recently and it was some laugh! 😁
  16. Aye I was thinking more of their CL semi final and Europa League semi final appearances myself. What do you consider having a pedigree out of interest? Winning some trophy that disnae exist any more 30 odd years ago perhaps? 😂
  17. After the sale of Dembele we made a net profit of £21.5 m in that window. Even before it we had a net spend of £500,000. That's not great backing to attempt to compete in Europe.
  18. Correct. The chief executive has a lot to answer for but he's not responsible for us failing to beat the likes of St. Mirren and Killie. The manager needs to up his fuckin game!
  19. Villarreal have a genuine European pedigree, not something you can say about Rijeka, Groningen or Burnley. Folk trying to downplay the huns result in midweek just come across as petty tbh
  20. Relax, we're fuckin miles ahead at the top of the balance sheet league! 😁😁😁
  21. That was barking although we were marginally better with 10 men. The manager really needs to freshen up the approach in both personnel and system. I like big Ntcham but he looked like he didn't fancy it tonight. No issue with him getting sent off but the 2nd half performance of Dallas was appalling. Fair play to St. Mirren although I thought they might have went for the win a bit more in the 2nd half.
  22. We ended up going to the Horseshoe and the China Sea pre-match lol. Went to Hootenanny post match. It was pretty crap to be honest but might give it another go some sunny afternoon 👍
  23. Aye I totally agree about the drum, it's not the same any more. Sloan's is a cracking pub, don't think I've ever been in the Raven, that's a new one for me.
