Most folk I know seemed to struggle to get in anywhere after the game. My bro and mates ended up in a gay pub in Camden as was only place that would let them in. I ended up in Walkabout at Embankment, as my mate who lives in London said he'd be there on a stag do. Was no sign of him and phone was dead, but at least I got in (even if I was on my own).

Apparently whatever was on at Crystals has been cancelled, by order of the Met.

Maybe I should give it another chance, but you're right, Bonnyton is by far the best in the town. Worth the drive to the other end of town.

Just booked the Stansted bus this morning, drop off is at kings cross. The express train goes to Liverpool Street.

Are you still allowed to drink on the streets in London? if these 3 pubs are stowed out, then will be off to the big Asda up the road for a carry out.

Cant believe that 'plaice to be' in Killie always gets nominated (and has won), round the corner from me, it's a dump and the food is bog standard. Only been once.

Yup. He can piss off there if he likes, I won't be joining him. There's about 30 other folk I know going down anyway, just traveling and staying with him.

Anyone know anything about a possible meet up/piss up in Hyde Park? My mate keeps going on about heading there, freezing your baws off in a park in November, doesn't sound much fun, trying to discourage him.

Stayed in the Premier Inn and visited both the O'Neills and the Maccy Ds at the last game, soaked up all the culture London has to offer.

Any Scotland friendly pubs near the ground? Would rather get up to that area before rush hour. My mate said last time they found a pub near Wembley that was only allowing in Scotland fans, but he doesn't know the name.

Walked through Sliema en route to Valletta one day, met this dodgy Scottish guy who was flogging time share, nice enough guy, but totally at it. He claimed Hugo himself is a good, good personal friend of his. Said he won £200k on the Maltese lottery a few years ago and bought one of the bars, then expanded from there. knows if that's true, the boy has got the whole place sewn up either way. Only pie he didn't seem have his finger in (so to speak) was the 'gentleman's clubs'. The birds outside the one on the stairs beside the I love vodka bar were mental, we were in that bar having a few and was good entertainment just watching them literally dragging in any guys drunk enough to go in and get fleeced.

We there a week, zero bites for me, one bad one for the wife. Ironically I only used the repellent once, she used it everyday ?

If you mean Mark, Tony and Ross, then we met them too on the Tuesday night in Hugos (plus a couple of other sound folk from Aberdeen they were with). They were meant to go home on the Wednesday, me and missus went for dinner and walking home past Hugos on Wednesday night, hear folk shouting us in, was those three nutters, had just no bothered going to the airport ? Had another top night with them and aye they all made it home (via Newcastle), about 4am Sunday morning. Great guys, everyone we met in Hugos were great folk and hope to meet them all again. Brilliant week over there. May have met yourself in there too, spoke to a lot of folk on the Tuesday night late on, if you went in the group of us to the dancing up the stairs from there at 4am, then I would have ?
