  1. Are you not allowed to tackle at this level, he seemed to get there a bit too easily.
  2. Thanks to everyone who has viewed so far. Just added a new piece with a couple of videos attached. Thank you
  3. I think the modern full back is expected to defend less and attack more and swap with the right or left midfielder when need be. The problem is that they end up with too many who are good at the lung bursting runs up the park and forget their defensive duties and leave the flanks open for attack from the opposition. It's hard to get that balance of someone who can make the forward runs but sees his defensive duties as his top priority. When Thistle came up from the Championship we had two great full backs at pushing forward in Aaron Taylor-Sinclair and Stephen O'Donnell but often left us exposed at the back and due to the lack of pace from our centre pairing we often shipped goals from nothing.
  4. Crap! If only I did this a few days ago before some of us gave up the ghost. Anyway, have a look; it is a work in progress. It will while away a few hours if you have the time. http://scotlandepistles.com/
  5. How would you like your probing?
  6. It was that big bloody explosion about half ten I nearly shat myself in the shower, which is actually quite a handy place to do that, but anyway it was loud.
  7. If Snodgrass had been fit for this campaign, would he have been the difference between success and failure? I think he was a big loss for us and possibly would have given us that extra something we needed at times.
  8. Cannae believe some jobsworth just told my son he Cannae sell the fanzine cos he's no got a street vendor license.
  9. Feck! Too busy drinking pints in the Burnside Hotel b there for 7ish!
  10. Of course if you can't be bothered carrying a copy about with you, there is the opportunity to buy it online on Ebay. Buy in the next couple of hours and it will be posted today and hopefully with you in the morning. Also, of course all three issues are available at only £7!
  11. Managed to convince my son to be sell too. So he will be at Aitkenhead Road where all the food vans etc. are from about 7pm.
  12. Sorry I won't be selling the first two but will be selling the Scotland Epistles around the ground tonight. Robert Marshall and myself will be selling at the South Stand from about 6.30pm. There will be a few other people selling but we're not that easy to spot so keep an eye out.
  13. There's a about hundred singing and chanting at the Aitkenhead Road car park already. Think they might be up for this one.
  14. Right lads remember nae queue jumping at Central Station this time; it upsets people but more importantly nae chip bags, empty buckfast bottles (full is acceptable), human excrement (bring a poo bag if you must) or sleeping members of the TA in my hedge. Thank you
  15. This is quite a reverent thread so far. I used to always hate his stuff, mind you I was a heavy metal goon back then but given I listen to Peatbog Faeries and Treacherous orchestra now maybe the time is ripe to revisit Jimmy.
  16. Thanks guys very much appreciated. I hope to have a website up and running soon that will encompass all the Facebook stuff plus some extra things but will have the advantage of being able to navigate and search for things in the way Facebook can't. As always sales are needed to help sustain our enthusiasm and marriages!
