  1. My anger is boiling over!! A no vote because some folk were scared of interest rate rises etc etc etc. So ing selfish! When im older and my grandchildren ask me about the time our great country missed out on independence i'll be able to look them in the eye and tell them that I did all I could.
  2. I'm not getting this negativity. They can't know that much. It will come down to the big councils - Glasgow, fife, Lanarkshire etc. Until they declare its wide open
  3. If my girlfriend phones for me (+2 other 1 pointers) tomorrow do you know if that's ok?? I could get her to do it online but I suspect I would end up with 8 England tickets instead or something!
  4. 700 tickets left. I would imagine all 1 pointers will be ok and probably if not all, then most 0 pointers.
  5. I think us 1 pointers will get a sniff. 1200 left. The majority of 2 pointers will be folk who went to England and Germany and won't be going to Poland.....not everyone but the majority! I predict about 800 uptake from 2 pointers leaving 4/500 for one pointers. In saying that I could be totally wrong lol.
  6. Yeah, 2 or 3 will be ok, i don't see more than a third uptake from the 2/3 pointers.
  7. That's half uptake which I thought would be the case. I know there will be a few still to buy but can't imagine there will be a significant amount. Touch and go if us one pointers will get a sniff.
  8. Where can I find the list of how many folk on each different point.
  9. I started a topic 6 months ago on a trip I was planning and got some good feedback and ideas on here. Would just like to thank those who offered their input, I'm just back and had a great trip despite the fact I had to miss Germany! We spent 4 nights in new york (2 days at start and end) and despite being here twice before we managed to cram loads of things in we hadn't seen before - exploring brooklyn, coney island, cycling central park, top of the rock, lion king, us open, highline park, 9/11 museum. Took the train to philadelphia and spent 2 nights and was pleasantly surprised. Loads of history and decent for a drink or two. Saw the liberty bell, independence hall, rocky statue although the highlight was probably the eastern state penitentiary. 3 days in DC after this and could actually have spent more time there. Visited the pentagon, Arlington cemetery, spy museum, natural history and american hustory museums, air/space museum, done the capitol tour and a walking tour of the monuments/white house etc. Not a city for partying lol! Someone suggested Monticello as a stop off and we did just that. Cracking little place and great history. We did the blue ridge parkway drive afterwards which was stunning and stopped off at pigeon forge/Gattlinburg for a few days where we went to Dollywood, a stampede and sampled some moonshine at the moonshine distillery. Following that we visited lynchburg and the jack Daniels distillery which again was well worth the trip. Nashville was the last stop before going back to new york. Pretty cool place but 3 days was more than enough. Went to the grand ole opry and done the country music hall of fame amongst a few other things. Needless to say I'm pretty tired after that.
  10. I'll be surprised if many more than 4000 travel to this., I reckon a ballot on 1 point at worst, maybe even 0. Maybe I'm just being optimistic as I'm only a measly 1 pointer now....
  11. Im in New York for a few days just now. Bought tickets for the Wednesday evening session months ago and fortunately it's turned out perfectly for me. Can't wait, I'm not overly confident he'll win but I'll be roaring him on anyway!!
