The ticket allocation will be confirmed for Gibraltar closer to the time, again we will email all members with full details once we have them confirmed. Best Wishes Scotland Supporters Club
  3. Thank you for your email. We are still awaiting our ticket allocation being confirmed. We have been pushing for this information so hopefully we have it very soon. The section of the stadium that we will be sitting in was under construction, that's why there has been a slight delay. Once this has been finalised we will send an email to all members with full details and a sales schedule. Best Wishes Scotland Supporters Club

  12. That`s settled in a democratic way, Roxy 2 E Street 1 , let`s move onto the next item on the agenda
  13. It is an amazing city and apart from the well known stuff to see there is just hundreds of years of history casually discarded as they`ve never got round to fully excavating it. Each Roman Emporer more or less rubbished the one before him, tore down what he had built and started again. As an example the Circus Maximus where up to 150,000 used to watch chariot racing ( think Ben Hur ) now just sits like 2 side by side council owned gravel football pitches with very little to tell you the history of the place
  14. No, it`s a bit like going to Edinburgh and being able to see the sea all around, but who ever goes to Portobello Beach.......
  15. For the friendly my mate and I came in through the wrong gate ( ok we went for an afternoon kip, woke up 15 minutes before kick off, taxi to the ground and the boy dropped us right beside the home end ) I took a few pics of our end and it looks like 3 blocks were set aside and we filled the central one and half filled the other 2. There seemed to be a lot more of us in October
  16. http://www.theportugalnews.com/a22-algarve-tolls-what-you-need-to-know It`s been 8 years since I was last on the Algarve, has the A22 opened since 2007 ? Seem to remember I came down the road from the airport and picked up a motorway from there and just scooted along to the Alvor turn off
  17. To avoid lumps and add a bit of flavour I use half a finely chopped onion. For a pint of sauce gently sweat the onion in 2 ounces of butter till it`s soft then add 2 ounces of flour and stir in till it cooks out to a sandy texture, should only take a minute. Take off the heat and add a quarter of the milk and give it a good stir then return to heat and it will start to thicken and add the next quarter pint and so on. Add a bayleaf and gently simmer whilst stirring occasionally. Add a good teaspoon of English mustard at the end and put the cheese in at the end - don't boil it up with the cheese in it or it will split your sauce. Use a good strong mature cheddar, the weaker the cheese = the weaker the flavour of your sauce. If you are using the sauce for a pasta dish then use 3/4 of the sauce and stir the cooked pasta into it, the pasta will really soak up the sauce. Take the other 1/4 and beat in an egg yolk , this will give you a lovely golden top when you bake it. Always butter the dish you are using as this helps when you come to do the washing up. Tip your pasta and sauce in the buttered dish then top with the sauce with the egg yolk in then a bit more cheese on the top then into the oven
  18. A brief tour round the away tickets available for Gibralter v Germany with some of the 6 sectors on offer half full but most only 20% full.
  19. Just back here`s my travellers tips and experiences. * First, it`s a big city with a population of just under 4 million so that cheap hotel deal may not look so good if you end up miles from anywhere, luckily we got a deal and stayed here http://www.hotelpraktikbakery.com/ no bar, no pool, no gym, no room service etc just a small reception desk and a bakery with a q from early morning till mid evening with locals in for bread, cakes etc. Breakfast was 8 euros in a cafe overlooking the bakery and you basically just filled up on fresh bread, ham, cheese and muffins till it came out your ears. * We took the airport bus in, drops you right down town at the top of the Ramblas. Travellers Tip - buy your ticket inside the air terminal when you arrive and you get on the bus before those who didn't. * We bought a 2 day hop on hop off sightseeing bus ticket and still only managed 2 of the 3 loops the buses take. The bus ticket comes with a book of discount tickets for various attractions including the Nou Camp. * Nou Camp - we got caught out here as we booked online thru` an agency, downloaded the stuff and rocked up. The small print on page 3 was that we were meant to visit the agency office to pick up the tickets. Travellers tip - just pitch up at the Nou Camp and buy your tickets when you get there, either cash at the windows or by card at one of the machines and press the button that says `Bus tour` or similar and you get a few quid off. * Ramblas - never saw any pickpockets or incidents but saw plenty of potential victims mainly walking round in groups off the cruise ships with badges round their necks saying `Rob me first please` * Ramblas = very crowded street with flower stalls down the middle, highlight for me was wandering round the huge market just off it, we had lunch in a wee place inside the market with fish so fresh it winked at me. http://www.boqueria.info/index.php?lang=en * Eating out, we used trip advisor to find places close to the hotel and had a memorable night here http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_Review-g187497-d2151085-Reviews-La_Pepita-Barcelona_Catalonia.html
