  1. I'm surprised at that. I think he's our best centre back after Tierney
  2. My pal (who lives in Bilbao) just sent me this photo of his starter. Horse Tartare Even i'd baulk at this one. I'm surprised it didnae gallop away when he tried to fork it
  3. That was my exact thinking when i saw the story. I don't remember them doing a story on the BiS rally a couple of weeks ago which had 25k at it. The best form of propaganda is what you don't report. Lying by omission.
  4. A man after my own heart. My missus insists that meat has to go on the bottom shelf, and she chucks stuff out as soon as it's out of date. I gie it the smell/taste test, and if it's fine, it's fine!
  5. It is indeed. My 10yr old daughter loves it. So much so she sometimes uses the name 'CucumberCaitlin' in online games 😄
  6. Of course! Where else would you put them? Not somewhere warm.... they'd hatch 😄
  7. I know, but we'd have been much more impressed with a 300 quid bottle! 😄
  8. I get your frustration, i really do. But that's the hard reality of where we are now - retreat mode, trying to keep the Yes movement alive. That means staying united. I'm happy Swinney and Forbes have agreed to work together.
  9. If you zoom in, that's what's on the label. I'm really disappointed tbh 😋
  10. It is indeed. It's the only form of spuds the weans will eat (apart from chips of course)
  11. Do you have an opinion to support your link?
  12. Correct. Swinney is a gradualist, but that doesn't make him a traitor, or MI5 plant or whatever
  13. Good morning..... The bowl is my pizza dough for tomorrow. The paper bags are the weans leftover chippy
  14. You get the same hypocrisy from the Labour party. They want an election when the SNP change their first minister, yet are completely silent when they do it (i.e. in Wales a few weeks ago).
  15. Yeah, i read that. But specifically which parts of the electorate? The data seems to say Tories (who are unlikely to switch to the SNP (apart from in the Tartan-Tory heartland of the north east)).
  16. I agree with you re indy. I'm just trying to figure out which candidate gives the SNP the best chance of losing fewest seats at the upcoming elections. The No-voting Tory voters that Forbes is popular with should be weighted less than the Yes-voting SNP voters in any calculation an SNP member makes when deciding their leader. Before seeing that polling i would have said Forbes was the best choice to retain SNP seats, but i'm back on the fence now.
  17. Aye, he got the title wrong... Indeed. Though i doubt the SNP establishment will have the potential impact on the Yes vote in their minds as a priority. It's about trying to avoid losing lots of seats in the coming elections.
  18. Very interesting stuff in there. Forbes is popular with older small 'c' conservative rural voters. That certainly fits the profile of your average TAMBer! 😁 If the yoons are touting Swinney, this will be why. Forbes will be much more likely to do damage to the Tory seats in the north east and borders. The calculation i think smart SNP members will have to make, is what will the price be of shifting the party to the centre-right with Forbes. Tricky one.... The data below on popularity by 2014 indyref vote is something to consider:
  19. Right, but you have to consider likelyhood to vote. Old folk are orders of magnitude more likely to vote than younger people.
  20. Like yourself i was expecting a big battle. But i think it was done well. The political intrigue made up for the bloodletting
  21. I don't read this thread, so apologies if this has been posted before (i really hope it has, then it won't just be me). "Just about". What does that mean to you? To me it's when you nearly did a thing. Not that you only just managed it. Fitba commentators seem to have changed the definition of the phrase. I think they all listen to each other. One of them started using it that way, now they all do. Similar to that, listen to how many are now copying McCoist with his over-use of "really". Cunts. Aw ae them
  22. I don't think it's as clear cut as that. My understanding is that the Cass review excludes various scientific studies in support of 'gender affirming care' that other countries have included in their reviews, which led them to a different conclusion. Therefore it's not that the Greens are denying science, just the selective use of it.
  23. I think this is correct. And even then 50%+1 at an election will only force Westminster to concede a proper legally binding indyref via section 30. Sturgeon's defacto indyref plan was the right move. Incredibly frustrating that her own and the SNP's implosion has scuppered that.
  24. I didnae see it, but i'm guessing she wasn't asked about them? If i'm wrong, forgive me. It's just i see so many complaints about politicians not 'talking enough about'/'talking too much about' any given subject, all while they don't realise that what they hear is completely filtered by the media and their agenda.
