  1. You're not allowed to call him a journeyman as he's only 24. According to Parklife the two are mutually exclusive. He pulled me up about it when I said Hearts had mostly journeymen last season. Their example means I'm not unhappy with this signing. Just because I don't know the name doesn't mean he isn't good enough.
  2. They aren't paying the loan back because it's not due yet. Ashley was looking for early repayment because hes a robbing and wants to make life difficult for the new regime. My point stands and your's doesn't make sense.
  3. Unless we sort out the currency question and put up a more varied argument on the finances then it still wouldn't get a Yes. Too many folk frightened by the money side of things.
  4. Didn't watch it but found out tonight that one of the boys from my sons school was in it. Apparently he was murdered with a sword, so I'm guessing he wasn't in it for long!
  5. Actually Hearts didn't really do that. They played the youngsters while going down from the Premiership but pulled in a pile of experienced journeymen for the Championship. Have a look at their first team from last season and you'd be surprised how few youngsters were regulars in the team.
  6. True, but as we all know now 3 years ago was feck all to do with rebuilding the club.It was all about Charles Green making money.
  7. While Sports Direct get a big cut of the profits the fans won't buy the shirts in any real numbers. They don't want Ashley getting anything as he's tried to screw the club for as much as he can get. It's kind of like getting revenge on him and all the other thieving bastards that have been robbing the club over the last few years It doesn't really make sense but that's the way it seems to me.
  8. From what I've found out if the noise isn't too bad (over 41dbs) inside your neighbours house then there's feck all anyone can do about it. It's also not a police matter as it's covered by the Council teams.
  9. He plays for Johnstone Pipe Band and I could have a 70 or 80 strong band in my garden if I felt like it. Now that might just tip the arseholes over the edge! And yes the castle still has the graffiti over it. It looks really odd when you get up close. Think it's to hide the fact that the render is decaying.
  10. This is very sensible but doesn't work as these arseholes are our only nearby neighbours. We are the corner plot so no one to the front or one side and then the length of 2 gardens before the ones over the back.
  11. I did say they were arseholes, didn't I? These are the kind of people who just want everyone to do what they want them to do. They used to live a street over and moved in next to us. Their old neighbours warned us they were arseholes but they seemed ok to us, at first. Boy has that changed.
  12. Update after speaking to the Council. Apparently the volume has to be above 41db consistently within the neighbours property before it counts as a nuisance. Going by the sound meter I've got its about 60db in my garden so by the time it gets through their walls and windows I doubt it'll be loud enough. So it's windows open and playing at full blast just now. I think I might be related to Flora as his opinion matches mine fully. Phuqq them.?
  13. He normally plays them a wee bit earlier but we'd been out at Kelburn Castle during the day and were a wee bit later getting back. We have a baby in the house so he has to be finished by 8 when she goes to bed.
  14. I'm sure. They've got previous phoning the Council wardens on kids playing football in the street. They were nowhere near any cars either. Just total arseholes.
  15. I'm more interested in who we are looking at for central midfield. We need a properly experienced pairing in there, or one really good pro plus a youngster. Lewis Mcleod on loan would be a start, maybe?
  16. Looked a promising player before he went to Liverpool but that was playing alongside Davie Weir. Hasn't progressed as he should have but maybe DW can get the best out of him now?
  17. I'm sure he could get far bigger salaries down south. I think this is relatively cheap based on his current profile. Obviously for Scotland it's very expensive however he is being asked to completely build a set up to bring the youth players into Murray Park and then improve them to the point we can play them or sell them on. Quite a big role really.
  18. Probably not much better than he did. Has failed at every job since and it looks like his Lyon success was just off the back of the previous managers work.Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
  19. Maybe it's just nice to have an actual manager in place with a plan for the future?
  20. His grasp on historical fact seems pretty poor considering its supposed to be his specialism! Utterly ridiculous man who deserves the same level of attention as Katie Hopkins.
  21. He will be. I just wish I knew what tune they didn't like and I'd get him to play it a few extra times.
  22. Mrs Renfrew won't let him. She wouldn't let me just go round and "discuss " it with them. She's a right spoilsport!
  23. Interesting evening as we've not long had the Police at the door after one of neighbours had anonymously phoned them to complain of the noise from my 13 year old practising his pipes. He was in his bedroom with a window open and it's a detached house! 7pm on a Sunday is apparently too much for them despite him doing the same thing for the last 2 years. We don't get on with these neighbours as they are arseholes of the first order. Police have since left after basically saying there's nothing for them to do. Do any of you guys know what the council regs or laws are in this area? I can't see how one piper can be breaking any rules or laws but I'd like to be sure before I ram it down their throats, metaphorically speaking obviously. ?
