  1. Haha did you enjoy it buddy? As said above I seen little of it, but I've heard a few folk saying it was a decent match. City certainly look like they have hit the ground running.
  2. Flicked over at half time yesterday and caught the end after our game was finished. Pretty boring tbh. Almost as boring as Ormonds posts on this very subject
  3. Ffs this quote function!! Anyway I agree, it was of course a joke. Adam is another one with a permanent sad-on it seems
  4. Fuqing ##### that he is. Drops the baw in the net playing for us, saves three penalties playing for you swines
  5. I think the way Celtic stumbled through last season, and us winning the semi final influenced that. It's a complete myth that we play good football, and I would argue that we haven't actually put in a decent performance since that game. The fact is Celtic have improved, we have gone backwards. Anyone thinking there is any sort of title challenge is deluded. Wrong choice of words from me. Of course it matters, the point is that there should be no real pressure. Given some of your performances last season, and the fact you have a new manager, qualifying for the group stages had to be the aim, anything now is a bonus.
  6. Haha believe me lads, I'm trying my absolute hardest to remain upbeat today.
  7. Christ we even made that donkey look good? The rid neck is well and truly complete....
  8. Aye so I just heard. Aparrently a shocker of a goal they lost too.
  9. Dunfermline have missed 3 (three) first half penalties. Dundee Utd lead 1-0.
  10. There is no point in being bitter mate. We got humped, simple as that. I would agree, it's two games we will struggle in, no question. Tuesday doesn't really matter. Just getting there had to be the aim for you.
  11. An absolute embarrassment of a performance. I actually thought 5-1 flattered us, men against boys for the full 90 minutes. No complaints from me. To the (decent) Tims and ABR lads on here, well done and enjoy it.
  12. I suppose, at the time, my knowledge of Ireland, and Northern Ireland was very very ignorant, especially when it came to the attitudes towards Rangers and Celtic, from their people.
  13. Haha aye I totally agree. I was over there a few times. It's predominantly Republican in that area. The lads my mate kicked about with were a great laugh and good company but they did have a REAL chip on their shoulder when it came to England......apart from when it came to choosing their fitba' teams.
  14. Interesting that you mention Irish bars. As far as I'm aware Celtic aren't even the second best supported club in Ireland (Man Utd and Liverpool being ahead of them). I remember years back I was in Enniskillen on Scottish Cup Final day, Celtic v Dunfermline and it clashed with Man Utd - Millwall. Boozer I watched it in was rammed with Man U fans, game was on 4 different TV's and a big screen. Celtic game was on one tv at the back with about 8 lads watching it. I was quite surprised at this, but on speaking to the Celtic fans, they said it was quite normal and that very few (comparative to EPL teams) give a shite about Celtic or Rangers.
  15. Can't have any complaints. Very very inconsistent tonight. As said above, Nishikori is an accomplished player, but Murray has made far too many basic errors tonight. I'd like to see Del Potro win it now.
  16. What happened with that? I had it on the laptop with no sound at that point. Agree with your other post. I like Nishikori, very good all round player, but let's be frank. An in form Andy Murray shouldnt be struggling as he has tonight.
  17. It will be the same when you come to Ibrox. Absolute joke to be charging that.
  18. Aye £49 face value is defenitely what you would call silly money.
  19. The only time I've ever mouthed off before one of these games, was Advocaats first season. I was convinced we would win easily. Celtic won the game 5-1. From what I've seen, Celtic have been both excellent, and dreadful in games this season. We have been decidedly average for the most part, bordering on dreadful ourselves at times. As such I don't think anything would surprise me. Smart money is on Celtic though, don't think that can be denied.
