  1. And the YES campaign cannot provide answers on whether or not this might happen. Once again they cannot provide the facts. We need to know, and I hold Alex Salmond responsible for failing to lay out what the future holds for me, and I'm a fuckin Taurus ! How hard can it be ?
  2. I've actually had to shut up around the wife as she had gone from undecided to Yes, but tells me that if I don't shut up about it she will vote No just to spite me. It was probably therefore childish of me to point out the attractiveness of the wee brunette ride that shows Alex where to stand for a photo.
  3. Probably not so terrifying, but certainly a cultural attack intended to stifle the freedom of the press. A perfect example of how YES mobs are intimidating people with their organised thuggery. I'll be surprised if you see Jim Murphy on the streets again at this rate. Obviously not safe for him out there with this sort of threat rolling it's rythmic hips in his direction.
  4. My version of the day of reckoning is when we get to name shame and ridicule the liars and state propogandists of the media, at every opportunity, as their lies are exposed in our shiny new country, as we do indeed enjoy the ride.
  5. BBC reporting that the NUJ have released a letter that basically says that its members are being intimidated and bullied. They cite the 'loud and rowdy' demonstration at the BBC as part of the problem as it could be seen as 'intimidatory and a threat to press freedom'. DO NOT CHALLENGE THE MSM. DO NOT CHALLENGE THE MSM. Cheeky fuckin aresholes. Press freedom is good. Peaceful demonstration is bad. Please please please can we have a day of reckoning ?
  6. UddyRedz and Kernie are 2 whose posting I enjoyed. Would love to see them back.
  7. There are a few fearties skulking about my work in Dundee but rough estimate would be about 65% Yes. Any idea if you can get a drink of a morning in Dundee or the Ferry ? I'll be up anyway as I'm now a nightshift bod, so a celebratory drink on the way home would be welcome. Otherwise it's bubbly in the garden ! Haven't done it before but some nightshift regularly have a wee scoop after work.
  8. Not if there is a Yes vote. We will be international pariahs and the good people of North Korea will have more chance of watching Strictly than we will.
  9. A friend just emailed me after reading the above - " New powers ? Like smallpox infected blankets".
  10. Shortbread and Irn Bru being served in the Commons tonight. Porridge for breakfast. BBC special report to follow.
  11. As long as nobody rises to the bait. Let them all do their thing without any confrontation. If we turn up they will be the aggressors but we will be blamed in the MSM and it will be spun as nasty Nats thuggery. Leave them well alone and we will benefit more.
  12. Seeing stuff on Facebook from people born on British Military bases abroad who have been told that they will not qualify for a Scottish passport. Also that kids born on such bases will be regarded as 'foreign' following a Yes vote. Can anyone confirm as bollocks so I can reply ?
  13. The topic title was actually a bit Freudian as I didn't intend it to refer to the referendum outcome as a given, as I said in my first post, "if and when". Didn't mean to imply a foregone conclusion. Mods - can we change 'failure' in the title, to 'performance' ?
  14. Well Gordon Brown is already attacking/blaming the Tories in one of the papers today, so the issue is out there already. Be a shame if a blame game started that damaged their campaign prospects any further, eh ?
  15. Not that I want to sow any seeds of discord amongst NO supporters, however who do we think is to blame if and when there is a YES vote ? Please give party and individual : I give you Labour and Milliband.
  16. Ok. Shame tho as I've quite enjoyed reading some of his stuff. Agree with him on a lot of what he says. However if he is a khunt then fuch him.
  17. So far have got my Mum from No to Undecided to Yes, my wife from No to Undecided, and given up on Father in Law. I have a Polish friend at work who said he was voting No based on scare stories about the pound, mortgages etc - put him onto the WBB and he is now a raging madman for Yes. He texted me about the BBC, which he thought was a bastion of truth, "You are right, is like Pravda. Why I'm being lied to ? Not just misinformed but lied to ?" He is now talking to his (Polish) wife about it. Another lad at work had earwigged some of our early conversations, and mocked the Yes side. Rangers fan, chucked about a few Rule Britannia ditties etc. He came up to me the other night and said he quite liked 'that Elaine C Smith' on the debate, and started asking me questions. He is now Undecided and is away reading the Wee Blue Book.......... So fingers crossed I'm claiming 5 so far.
