  1. I lived in England for quite a few years and all my mates knew loads of Scottish teams. But that was only because they grew up watching the vidiprinter on Saturday afternoon. I am sure it is very different now.
  2. Funnily enough, a cock is the one thing she doesn't have!
  3. Hi Euan.  Sorry for the message out the blue.  I think you live in SA right? I am looking for a wee bit of advice about Pretoria. Would you be able to help out? Cheers, Paul.

  4. I really dislike the new colour scheme. Still love Strava though.
  5. Talking of prayer, Nadal must be a very religious man.
  6. Thanks. Will have a look at that later. Had a mate who was going to be part of the London ceremony then his section got cut at the last minute. He was a wee bit disappointed.
  7. That is fair enough as the opening ceremony is, arguably, a waste of money. But it really showed. I wonder how much Bejing cost? Not been able to watch a lot yet but really looking forward to the track cycling and athletics kicking off. Suspend the disbelief and everyone crack on.
  8. These numbers do not make any sense to me and are different to what you said last night. If you could give us the source it might be easier to understand. Besides, you are missing the point. Believing in god does not make a person thick. It makes them wrong but that is very different.
  9. Sorry, not sure what you are getting at here. Americans, as a whole, are no more or less thick than any other society. Creationism and evolutionism are not given equal time in the vast, vast majority of US schools. What about Turkey? Teaching evolution is banned in Turkish schools. Are all Turks thickos?
  10. From what I have read it was the day before a race and she gave a negative test at the race the next day.
  11. Assume from what you said before that you are a bit older? I train (running) with some very competive Masters guys here in the US, and they are always telling me the rumors about which of their competitors are on the testosterone replacement medication. Works wonders apparently!
  12. I don't think she is accused of missing an in-competition test, though, is she? From what I have read there is no suggestion that she intentionally missed out of comeptition tests and, if she has followed the proper appeal procedures at the time, at least one of the 'missed' tests would not have counted. Having said that, it looks dreadful for both her and, in particular, UK Cycling. And it does make you wonder what else they help their superstars get away with.
  13. Great post. Interesting to compare this thread and the Wimbledon thread.
  14. Well that came round quick. I see Froome is favorite at least according to this... https://m.oddschecker.com/t/cycling/tour-de-france/winner I have barely watched any cycling this season so have no idea on form but the route would seem to suit Froome with a couple of TTs. I would love to see the baby-faced Quintana win though.
