  1. More info on dealings at Rangers will be published by SOS today. This time to do with Charles Green.
  2. I was referring to the families choosing the charities. In time this can have a very positive impact on those who have lost loved ones.
  3. Ditto... imagine that happening these days... :-)) my mum always told me I deserved it.
  4. I understand why people( strangers to the families) need to place flowers, teddies and other things at the site of the incident. Its important for themselves. But is there not someone with the foresight to suggest setting up a fund to be used at a later date by the families for whatever reason. They may have their own charities that they would want to to allocate donations in memory of their loved ones. Hope I am not sounding insensitive. And the coverage of this incident by the media is simply awful
  5. another article on the current situation http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/rangers/sos-chief-fears-ashley-has-upper-hand-as-rangers-meet-sfa-192569n.115093356
  6. Craig Houston from Sons of Struth posted this on the SOS FB page last night. I made reference to this the issues below earlier in this thread. There is a link to an article in the Telegraph and the story is also on the front page of the Record today. "I have just been informed that the lawyer claiming to be acting on behalf of Mr & Mr Easdale, Mr Somers and RIFC has submitted to the crown an action against me and the emails i released last night The action is NOT against authenticity nor publication but he believes the emails have been obtained through illegal means. How could you obtain an email illegally if it were fake? The action in its self proves authenticity. I shared this email with the Rangers fans for one reason and one reason only, to show the members of our board are more interested in self preservation than the future of our club, I done so in the belief that the public had to see the email i was in possession of and without concern to any future action against me, I believe I have done the right thing. I will not be bullied in my attempts to clear our club of those controlling it for their own benefit and wish every man removed who does not put Rangers interests in front of their own I am unsure of the outcome of this action and what i will face tomorrow so i will therefore be taking a break from online activity until this outcome is known and will leave the page to the moderators to oversee with no further posts until things clear up Merry Christmas and happy New year to all" http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/rangers/11311642/Rangers-chairman-David-Somers-pleaded-for-Mike-Ashley-takeover-to-succeed-emails-reveal.html
  7. I made reference to that as well. She got her statutory entitlement and nothing more according to the discussion on FF in the days following. Maybe Phil is getting his exclusives from FF these days. And Phil is totally obsessed with Rangers. I imagine machine gun fire aimed at a stationary target will hit the spot once in a while.
  8. I posted this story on this forum the day Ally handed in his notice. It was discussed on FF within hours of her leaving.
  9. Anyway there is a belter of an email from Somers to Ashleys legal team . Seems to totally blow Somers best interest of the club waffle out of the water.
  10. Posters let their own personal prejudice take hold when commenting on the Rangers issue. Its understandable. And using Somers comments regarding SFA actions to attack the club illustrates this. Every Rangers fans knows what Somers was up to yesterday.
  11. comes across as an excellent journo. Maybe you try and read a bit more of his stuff. Otherwise stick to The National .
  12. Cant bear to listen to the eye witness accounts. Too upsetting. RIP to all and thoughts with families and friends. Puts things into perspective.
  13. plenty of examples of management teams where senior pros have a role on the bench.. Giggs for one at Man Utd. I imagine McCulloch is going to be one of the players who's contract is up for renewal so this is an option to put him to use for the remainder of his contract. Never really understood Durrant's role at Rangers Its coming up to the day of reckoning. There is still an offer on the table from King and Co. Rangers need £8m by Jan, I doubt the fans will give any more cash over to this board. Ashley needs to declare his intent. I doubt he will give £8m in loans. After todays shambles I can see fans voting with their feet.
  14. cant post a link but the reception the board got as they made their way to the stage is worth listening to
  15. Apparently the shareholders will be seated in the broomloan rd corner stand. The board will be on the pitch seated on a stage. This is breaking with recent years where the board have been seated in the main stand and the shareholders only feet away. There are lots of links on twitter to follow proceedings.
  16. clean slate. This whole board is tarnished. Would rather take the risk with King. This board turned down a £16m investment offer in favour of loans from Mike Ashley. This still has not been answered in terms of the reasons why.
