Why not? People in the 60s died in 70s, from 70s in the 80s etc. It happens every week of every year to people of all ages, from premature babies to centurians. It just so happens that for numerous reasons there are far more 'famous' people over the last 60 years or so than there ever was before. And just because they are 'famous' does not preclude them from dying like anyone else at any age.
