  1. Barrie McKay Characteristics + Strengths (Player has no significant strengths) - Weaknesses Aerial Duels Weak Holding on to the ball Weak Crossing Weak Defensive contribution Weak Discipline Weak
  2. Probably badly worded title was meant more to apply to younger player's who's ability is so great you won't give up on then no matter what. Barrie McKay would be a good example or Islam Feruz. A few posters scatter gun every one under 17 as a future great, point of thread is to actually put it in writing Winner gets a job as a Man City scout
  3. Ryan Fraser making his debut against Blackburn.
  4. Tom McIntyre starting for Reading against Luton in the diddy cup today.
  5. Looks like that might have been a decent call, spotted he wasn't just a right back too
  6. Been capped so not allowed. Dragging the thread up again because every one seems to think we have some never ending list of prospects. Giving er yir macaroon Liam Morrison unless he has a better prospect. New rule- max 2 players per 6 months before a certain some one names every one in the under 17 squad
  7. Mcrorie's a midfielder now, but would still have him along as a right back. So take out Palmer and Gallagher-problem solved
  8. £20,000,000 players dont get relegated they just get a move to a better team. McBurnie's safe.
  9. McBurnies won 9 headers, that's more than any one else with their head. In fact I think that means he's touched the ball more with his head then his feet.
  10. Should he be in our under 21 squad and the best defender in the under 21 squad in the full squad? Or are we best waiting a few years just to make sure they are good enough
  11. Do you think we are unique in thinking our players will be better and more motivated in a years time? Thread is about the manager and I can't see any reason for the players to be more motivated. Some of our players might be better but some of them are in decline.
  12. Forgot that but the Czech's must be shitting it.
  13. Sorry but that's the country that lost at home to Cyprus in the qualifiers. And and even let San Marino score. We seem to think Kazakhstan are a good side because they destroyed us. Bottom line you can't call beating very weak teams much of a performance. On paper the win in Cyprus was a better performance.
  14. Read somewhere that the many Icelandic facilities were run and maintained by the local community and that the parents played a major part in that. It's not just the kids fault.
  15. This is not just about failing to qualify, we have not put together one decent performance since Clarke took over. After watching the first 20 minutes of our games against Russian and Belgium you knew we had no chance.{maybe half an hour against Russia?) If we get past Israel and then somehow manage to get a result in the final which we probably wont deserve, we will qualify for a 24 team major tournament. Pretty sure we will be humiliated there unless we get to hand pick our finals group. And don't forget it was McLeish that got us this far thanks to two of our best performances in ages. Who's to say any of the first five managers wouldn't have got us there under the same circumstances, at least they got occasional decent performances and results.
  16. Never met the guy but always imagined he looked a bit like David Gower.
  17. Couldn't find Gilmour but it looks like he is in the Norwich under 23 squad. Any one know if ST Clair did any thing at all at Kilmarnock?
  18. Only a stats site but Lewis Morgan got MoM again last night despite Inter Miami losing 2-1 on who scored. Not often players who are on the losing side get MoM unless they scores a couple of goals Currently the 10th best player in the league, impossible to know the standard of the league but it can't be that bad.
  19. Easy shout at right back ahead of the couple of players tagging along with the squad for that position. But then to me so is Callum Paterson despite the fact he never plays there at club level. Hopefully Clarke will start to see that. Perhaps he played a back three when he realised how bad his two right backs were.
  20. Any one know were Charlie Gilmour is. Norwich? Is Harvey St Clair back in Italy
  21. Ross McCrorie got the whoscored man of the match. Got a big rating last week too in midfield. Certainly think of one or two he should be ahead of for a squad place.
  22. Goal for Ross McCrorie looks like he's not a defender any more
  23. Is it too much of a stretch of the imagination to stick Tierney on the centre left of a four man defence because he plays left central in a three man at Arsenal, McKenna is playing central in a three man at Aberdeen so can he move slightly right to be the right central defender in a back four. Doesn't appear that either would be miles out of position. Regards the right back problem, all we did with the three at the back experiment was create an extra central defender and double wing back problem.
  24. Blackburn and Huddersfield were looking at him a couple of weeks ago according to papers but nothing since.
