  1. Cristiano Ronaldo wins his 3rd Ballon D'Or tonight. Scott Brown voted as Scotland captain. 1. Ronaldo 2. Robben 3. Neuer Strachan 1. Ronaldo 2. Costa 3. Robben Hodgson on the other hand thought Javier Mascherano was the best player this year!
  2. Might be an idea to kidnap the oppositions wives and tell them to lose or else rather than the other way around
  3. There are a few leagues popping up around Scotland now. Perth league has been affiliated with the SFA for a while. I played in the UEFA cup for Perth saltires a few years ago and the standard was frightening. We managed to get a point against the eventual group winners who then went on to play Barcelona in the next phase. Above is a video of an overhead kick scored in one of the group games
  4. Maloneys goal took a deflection off the defender and keeper. Mcgeady hit a strike from the edge of the box and was a great goal. The timing may have an element of luck as it was probably their last chance
  5. Our goal was ridiculously lucky v Georgia!
  6. The old "goals change games" cliché is so true. Mentality of both teams changed once we took the lead. They then started throwing the full backs forward automatically prompting anya and maloney to play a more defensive role. Maloney really isn't up to that. Cardiff in the last campaign maloney played in the wide role up against bale which was such a bad decision. After taking the lead you then don't have to commit as many men forward to push for a goal and leave spaces to be countered. Unfortunately we aren't good enough at playing a defensively disciplined game when it comes to defending leads. I'm sure Strachan will be addressing this as he has improved most of the other aspects of our game
  7. There's a wee Scottish bar round the corner to the left of the Dubliner called Jags bar which is a Scottish bar. Probably a better bet for the Scotland games. The Dubliner doesnt get busy/good until after midnight with live music. Area of bars there is called "The Patch"
  8. I actually agree with you that seeing as he had time to sell the trip and tickets on here then surely returning the ticket to ssc is similar. Of course the ssc showed their robotic nature in the manner they dealt with the situation. Then I read a thread in the poland section which is you looking for a ticket for the poland game "preferably in the Scotland end" surely this is pretty hypocritical and you condoning the actions you have just criticised?
  9. Never really bought into the "he hasn't done anything to lose his place" "has never let Scotland down" argument. If there's a better option then he should play. Also we should really be striving for better than someone not letting us down
  10. Played well and looked sharp tonight, good turn and through ball for Saints goal. Took him and Scott Brown off and the game completely changed and Aberdeen dominated 2nd half. His touch still looks great. Excited to see him play for the rest of the season. Played up front tonight
  11. Surely the opposite is the case,if it was on the BBC then folk would be less likely to go as it is more widely available than if it was on sky?
  12. Unfortunately that's the problem with the smaller teams,as soon as a 6 figure offer comes in for one of their players they shit themselves and don't have the balls to hold out for a reasonable figure.
