  1. One of the BBC correspondents quoted as saying that Russia are carrying out exercises in Transnistria. Rhetoric of Russian' unfinished business' there
  2. You're right. Checked the pre and post 1997 NATO map. But the point of a reason for Putin potentially invading Moldova still stands. Lithuania declaring a state of emergency.
  3. Thats what worries me. Putin will feel emboldened and whats to stop him invading the likes of Estonia or Finland, both NATO members who share a border with Russia. Same goes for Moldova who have a pro Russia breakaway state on its eastern border. Whats to stop Putin using the old peacekeeping line to send his troops into there. Correct me if Im wrong but Im certain Putin was an old style hardliner who bitterly opposed the breakup of fhe USSR. Part of me is thinking he wants a return to the Warsaw Pact days. Hope to Christ I am completely wrong with this assertion
  4. Would be worse than Dundee appointing McGhee. Think it confirms how out of touch our board are with its fanbase. Ive hardly seen one fan who actually wants him. They might as well go the whole hog and appoint popcorn teeth as his No2
  5. Positive rates per 100k have plummeted as well. Still very high but moving in the right direction
  6. Classic example of that was transferring elderly hospital patients into care homes which sadly might come and bite the SG severely on the arse at any inquiry. It was the best of intentions to try and move them into what was perceived to be a more protective environment away from what was a Covid war zone but sadly it backfired as we have all saw. As someone else said earlier, damned either way
  7. That was a week before the first national lockdown. 3000 Atletico Madrid fans attended at a time when Madrid was the epicentre of the European outbreak and at a time when the Spanish and Italian governments were pleading with the UK government to shut the border
  8. Talking of kickings, the Welsh Secretary took a severe one on Question Time last night. Another snivelling Tory goon who couldn't bring himself to decry his toxic, obnoxious arsehole of a boss
  9. Ross publicly calling for BoJo to step down. Apparently firing of a letter of no confidence to the 1922 Committee. Don't think he will be the last either.
  10. I don't know who I hate most. Ross, Jackie Baillie or the repulsive turd that is Cole-Hamilton.
  11. Yeah. Been the biggest jump in hospital admission for quite some time but crucially the ICU numbers have been very steady. 2 fewer in ICU than yesterday actually
  12. Last paragraph is bang on. Hospital numbers have been very steady for some time now. As are ICU numbers. The only people that I know of late that have been very unwell are the blantant refuseniks that continue to post some of the wildest, not to mention ridiculous, conspiracy theories imaginable
  13. The desire to be a politician should bar you for life from ever being one, a wise man once said
  14. Meanwhile, despite the myopic cunt that is Doncaster shafting us again, the Buds are defying the odds. Sadly, the young uns will tire and we have Academy lads on the bench. But they are doing me proud amidst crushing odds. Would be a piss laugh if we somehow went in front 😂😂
  15. Seems like the SG are ready to follow suit according to the State Broadcaster
  16. Would bring forward the winter break in the Premier League
  17. Och, piss off. None of us have brought refugees into it if thats what you are insinuating
  18. This isnt just about not being able to go for a pint. Its our entire civil liberties that are on the line
  19. If she tries a long lockdown she is finished. She was the one who repeatedly said that vaccination is the only way out of this. We have all complied yet face the prospect of zero social interaction. Any goodwill towards her is fast draining away.
  20. I don't trust them with this circuit breaker guff. Remember last October school holidays when they shut down for what was meant to be a short time. It went on until May this year. I don't believe for a minute this will be a short lived lockdown
  21. I just think we are all at the end of our tether. Just when we are starting to enjoy meeting our mates at the pub for a blether over a pint or going to a racous Hampden and revel in watching the lads turning over the Danes it lmost feels like going back to square one.
