  1. Andy Murray states his intention to play in the French Open at the end of this month. However, he is ruling out playing Rome Masters to warm-up on clay.
  2. Seen far spookier in the sport such as the final frame of Wilson V McGill. It happens.
  3. Yes I did. Watched the majority of matches.
  4. Indeed. On the other hand what if those two infected players have had contact with the rest of the squad? That opens another can of worms as those players will not display symptoms just now as they are in the incubation period so could play whilst infected.
  5. Yes I think likely scenario is Czech Republic thought they could call it off with no repercussions with hope of re-arranging because they had a couple of players out. They made the announcement without thinking there could could be repercussions and when UEFA contacted them and told them they would forfeit the match if they didn't play then they changed their mind.
  6. I agree with you. Just that I'd be gobsmacked if they envoke the toughest punishment on them during COVID-19. Perhaps the fact the game is back on then UEFA have warned Czech Republic of the consequences. Perhaps the Czech FA made the announcement without knowing what the consequences would be and have now backed down and said they will play.
  7. No idea but I'd be gobsmacked if they award Scotland a 3-0 win.
  8. Interesting one. Now we don't know what tough COVID measures the Czech government have with regards the pandemic. Perhaps it is tied in that if any sporting team has an outbreak then it is shut down for self-isolation period. I cannot see the Czech Republic trying to 'pull a fast one' for a home game against us especially after a comfortable away win last night. I can very easily see UEFA giving them special dispensation and allowing the game to be rescheduled.
  9. Regardless of how many flukes there were it never altered the outcome of that final due to the rankness of his opponent. Kieran Wilson was shocking. If you look at all the stats its clear Ronnie O was the better player in what was an awful final.
  10. All I hope is that this was Clarke throwing Israel a curveball to confuse them for the play-off next month.
  11. To be fair to him he was the only Scotland player in the whole match who dribbled into penalty are, got to the by line and fired over a half decent cross in the second half. He was by no means as bad as McGregor and Forrest - not by a long way and was better than Robertson.
  12. Why are you delighted Taylor1996? Playing your system we drew against a team we beat two years ago playing a different system in a match then that we looked far more potent in attack and scored more goals.
  13. I'd agree with that. Turgid stuff and we can be really relieved to have got the draw.
  14. I'd agree with much of that but thought Christie did well at times.
  15. Yes I am in two minds about the formation. Was it that formation that made us so toothless in attack?
  16. What was most disappointing was the total lack of penetration in attack. Dire.
  17. Agreed. I'd say its a bi-product that he normally plays in a team full of players generally far more dynamic in attack with far better attacking players making the runs for him. Plus Liverpool have teams on the back foot so Robertson can exploit that. Not us.
  18. I generally hate being negative but tonight I can't help it. We were lucky to get a draw there and that was with a very strong team out on the pitch. McGregor was AWOL, Forrest ineffective and the urge to get into their box was not there. A step backwards. Was it the formation? Was it the attitude? Was it the performance levels?
  19. Oh dear. Shite shite shite. And that with most of our perceived best players out on the pitch. As toothless on attack as a newborn baby.
  20. My real gripe is no cutting edge in attack. It is probably much down to the way Israel set up with a parked bus but still. Other elements to our play has not been too bad as in passing and build-up and aside from one scare looked quite solid at the back. We really need to be more of a threat in the final third of the pitch though.
  21. We have been compact enough but not threatening enough. Heck when Israel break the have three or four players piling into the box whereas we seem to have one or two. That needs to change. Result is key though.
  22. I'd say they will line up something like this:- ......................................................................Marshall....................................................................................... ...........................Scott McTominay........Scott McKenna............Kieran Tierney............................................. Ryan Jack.........................................................................................................................Andrew Robertson ........James Forrest..................................Callum McGregor................................Ryan Christie..................... ....................................................................John McGinn................................................................................ ...................................................................Lyndon Dykes...............................................................................
  23. I'd take a 2-0 win tonight. As for against the Czech Republic an away draw would be nice but can we keep a clean sheet over there? I doubt it. Can we score over there? I doubt it.
  24. 😂 Should have read best not nest. Too late to edit now.
