  1. JD seem to have tunred into a total shambles over the last few months. Made a total mess of all the St Mirren gear as well, kids tops where the neck was that small kids couldn't get their heads through. No stock of any sizes, bugger all in store and no indication of when new stock will be in. Away top not even given a release date. Also seen they made and delivered the Tranmear top with the Cabrinni logo upside down.
  2. And apart from Wembley the World Cup campagin will be the same as the ones you mention.
  3. I think Ferguson was from memory. Said on another topic but the fact the game is the first of a double header has me a lot more confident, if it was Germany then having to go to Georgia I'd be a lot more worried.
  4. No chance will GS change move his best centre back from the last 2 years to right back in such a crucial mathc. It's Hanley or Mulgrew in there with him. Up front, 2 of the 4 will defo be Anya and Maloney, the other two any from Fletcher, Griffiths, Ritchie and Naismith. Naismith and Fletcher have worked well together so far this campaign but haven't had much game time this season, I'd expect at least one of them to start though. Decent options all round I think. Robertson to start at left back given his performance against them at Ibrox, think Whittaker may drop in there for the Germany game. Hutton will play in at least one of the games.
  5. Heard that myself. Didn't paint a good picture of him that's for sure. Seems a few folk within the SFA youth ranks thought the sun shone out his backside. The fast track to U21's when he was 17 because he wasn't happy in the U19 was laughable and trying to get Levein to take him on the USA trip a few years ago as well.
  6. Yeah the German run in is by fat the worst of the 4, apart form their last game. We really need them to do one of two things, either get their fingers out and romp the rest of the group or have a total collapse in the next 3 games taken a point or 2 at most. I think the former is more likely though.
  7. I'm confident we will win on Friday. Big difference this time compared to last is that it's the first game of a double header rather than the second, obviously factor out an Old Firm match the weekend after. The Germany game is or should be a bonus match provding they beat Poland on Friday night. I still expect us to be sitting 4th on Monday night, unless we beat Germany given the Republic's two fixtures.
  8. Squad as expected, thought Dorrans might have been close but competing in what is our strongest area. Think Hanley will be doing well to get back into the team since Mulgrew and Martin done well enough in Dublin, Whittaker and Robertson full backs for me, certainly vs Georgia anyway. I can see Strachan using more of the squad for these two games. Griffiths to start in Georgia but Fletcher to start vs the Germans
  9. That's what's probabaly came back in the survey that was sent out a few weeks ago. I'm sure they'll get more if needed if the 8000 sell out no problem.
  10. England game will be 5pm on the Saturday end of. The police can moan all they want but it wont get shifted
  11. The Latvia game at Parkhead or Paris for me. If memory serves me right were we not waiting on another result that night to confirm us as best runners up? I remember being in the horseshoe and watching teletext waiting for a score to come in and the place going wild when it did.
  12. Back in 2007 they were mid 70's when we played them, though we were 14th. They had drew with Ukraine at home and lost 3-2 to them away, certainly never took the humpings they have now
  13. The only way the Germans will have qualified by the time they play Ireland will be if Ireland and us have slipped up in September and neither of us can cacth them over the last two games. Basically we take 1 point from 2 games and the Irish take 3 or less I would also say why cant we take a point of the Germans at home. I'm confident we will beat Georgia, completly different game this time compared to the last time in 2007.
  14. I think no matter what happens against Germany we need to beat Poland, as a draw could leave us relying on a certain score in order to get the head to head or relying on ROI getting something in Poland.
  15. Looking at the best 3rd places I would say that it will come from either our group or the Dutch group.
  16. You also need to remember that 3 of Russia's 8 points came from getting awarded their match vs Montenegro as a 3-0 win after it was abandoned at 0-0.
  17. I'm a lot more confident about the Georgia game now than I would have been at the start. The fact it's the first of the double header, it's early in the season and Strachan has hoepfully learned from his 'overthinking' on Saturday would suggest he'll have the squad right up for it and fully focused. I'd be more worried if it was the second game of a double header (Ireland/England example). Will be a tough game, no doubt but just think there is something about this squad profesionalism to get the job done. Germany should hopefully be a bonus game providing they do the business at home to Poland.
  18. Game should and hopefully will be a bonus game. Providing they beat Poland and we beat Georgia anything we get will be a bonus.
  19. There was the potential other results could help us. Hopefully thats happened
  20. Thats a bit cack. Where did you end up?
  21. Yeah I'll be in Filthys from about 6.30 on Friday waiting on rest of lads arriving about 8
  22. Hide it in your bags before you board, the guards at Belfast Central wont let you through the gates if you walk up with a big case of beer in your hands.
  23. It's got plenty of big areas, St Stephen's green being the main one but no way the local Garda will let us congregate there.
  24. Dublin, for the size of it doesn't really have any square as such unfortunatley. Would be difficult to see where a mass meet would happen.
