  1. "The 'Broony' moniker has also been given an Aberdeen rebrand with fans now affectionately dubbing him 'Brooner'."
  2. Absolutely! Thought it was easily going to be goal of the game, but McLennan's might have pipped it.
  3. Gave away the ball on 3 minutes which thankfully didn't cost us. From there he had a solid (and quiet) night.
  4. Toronto FC had their first fans (7,000) in for a home game last Saturday. Tonight they'll be welcoming 15,000 fans. 😊
  5. It was a 'caption competition' post imagining what Scott Brown was saying in the photo (hence the quotes).
  6. That'a all I can think of. I didn't see the game, but reports are that Chrstie had a very good match.
  7. "Leading the Dons out in Europe on Thursday. Canne wait... "
  8. Forster, on the other hand, would be a tremendous asset anytime. Keeper isn't exactly a strength for Celtic.
  9. The percentage of Canadians who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 has for the first time surpassed the United States. As of the afternoon of July 17, Canada had vaccinated 48.64 per cent of the population with two doses, according to COVID Tracker Canada. By comparison, 48.4 per cent of the American population were fully vaccinated, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported. This comes less than two months after Canada eclipsed its southern neighbour in terms of single-dose coverage. The vaccination gap between the two countries started slowly narrowing as Canada began ramping up its distribution in May. The supply of doses is now on the verge of outstripping demand, according to government officials. Meanwhile, cases of COVID-19 have tripled over the past three weeks in the U.S., and hospitalizations and deaths are rising among unvaccinated people.
  10. Of course, however, if it's deemed that he himself isn't up to the Celtic job, and/or his signings flop, then the allowances shown will diminish. Football fans of big clubs are notoriously impatient, and any grace given to Poste's late appointment will soon disappear upon consecutive bad results.
  11. Ben Whiteman's penalty secured a 1-0 win on Saturday for English Championship side Preston North End at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership side's final warm-up friendly, which Postecoglou said "wasn't a great game for us". "We didn't start well and lost a bit of belief and we kind of struggled through the whole game really," Postecoglou added.
  12. Yes, THANK YOU for only offering Scott Brown a one year deal. 👍
