I can do it, but have refused to buy a Gibralter ticket on principle. Got 9 points if that helps my credibility.
  2. I agree with Girvan TA. The German game, we were always going to try and sit in and try to score on the break. The shambolic 2nd goal killed us. Ireland and Poland did the same as us,check the stats, but were more successful. The Poland game we started well and lost a goal from an individual mistake. We then got stuck in and got a lead, but by sitting in defensively and letting them play, exploited our weakness, the defence and let them score. I feel if we had kept playing in the same manner, we might have scraped through. For me the Georgia game was the worrying one as we appearrred to run out of ideas, and the defence didn't seem to cope when they pressed for an equaliser. In saying that we're where I thought we would be after three games so no complaints here. I'm also not complaining about individual players as I can't improve upon Mr. Strachans selections, and the players appear to be trying their guts out. The last few minutes in these types of games will always result in the losing team pressing and they have nothing to lose. Just as we did in Germany, Poland and Georgia did against us.
  3. Would it be worth providing a link to their Facebook page with a link to the two donations made to Polish charity organisations by TACC. and TASA. We could then offer to pay a " ransom" to a charity of their choice and the flags would be returned to us. I realise I'm probably being a bit naive and they couldn't give a flying fork. Again the local press in Warsaw may be willing to help.
  4. I Know we have started a petition to protest about prices, but has anyone started a Facebook page where we could start sorting out strategies to get our message across. I'm going to Ireland game on the Friday night as I got a £33 pound ticket, but wasn't at the Georgia game and most definetly won't be at the England game, due to the timing of the game and the cost. If you're not buying a ticket to these games, at least call the SSC and let them know the reasons for not purchasing.
  5. Have you still got space on the Monday night
  6. Edinburgh to Istanbul for three nights then on to Tiblisi for three nights. Fly home to Edinburgh via Istanbul morning after the game. £270.
  7. Worth taking a look at Housetrip. com. We did this in Croatia and got a cracking apartment near the stadium for two nights for 60 Euros. Have done the same for Tiblisi and got what looks like great digs for £120 for the three nights.
  8. Spoke to Flure about this in Dortmund. If you haven't already, could you count me and my good lady in for thie Sunday night. cherrs
  9. Try booking through Edreams. I just booked Edinburgh - Istanbul, three nights in Istanbul, Istanbul to Tiblisi, three nights in Tiblisi, flying back to Edinburgh via Istanbul on the way home, morning after the game. £270 each. Cheap flights were still there last night. No accomodation sorted yet. Looking for advice re Istanbul.
  10. With the current political climate are you ok with Kiev.
  11. I am under the impression that there is no great need to book tickets as the price difference is negligible. There are two different types of train and the one that is not the express is much cheaper. I'm expecting to pay around £22 single for about a three hour journey. Travelling up the day before the game, but any advice regarding the train is much appreciated.
