  1. Brilliant turnout in Glasgow and London, got to keep these things going during this governments term in office.
  2. I got chicken pox in 5th year a few days before my maths exam, first year of higher still, teacher said I had to sit it so got a doctors note saying "I was a brave lad" which went with my exam. An exam that I failed miserably yet for a C probably because of the pox
  3. Definitely. Hope he comes back in similar form
  4. Probably hear someone soon talking about having armed guards in churches now. Or just train the ministers and give them guns. What stop there, the public should just bring a gun to church and defend themselves.
  5. But concerned that I've agreed with Phillips on more than one occasion
  6. Motivated by race also. From the outside it does appear that racial tensions in America have increased over the past couple of years.
  7. In a church in charleston, 9 dead. 21 year old in custody. When will America wake up to their gun laws, or lack of?
  8. While the missing players doesn't concern me, you're right that it will be test, mainly because of the importance of the game
  9. They competed with Poland in both games for at least a half so we need to make sure we score first and then they might become deflated.
  10. Absolutely but there's been several posts that indicate they believe Ireland are practically out of it.
  11. A very average Ireland side that we had to fight hard to win 4 points off of and could easily have been less. Georgia have been unlucky, they can't win ranking points against the Pot 6 team and have lost by the odd goal in several games against the higher ranked teams. It's a massive game and we need to treat it as such to get the win.
  12. Lot of IF's in this thread. Let's be clear, Ireland are still involved regardless of our result in Georgia and will likely be going into the last 2 games ahead of us on points.
  13. When did the UK politically become so backwards? No to 16 - 17 year olds vand no to EU nationals voting in the EU referendum. Anyway well done all msps who voted yes
  14. Here's the BBC link http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-33188463 Buried at the bottom "Also during the committee stage debate, an SNP motion to allow EU nationals resident in the UK to vote in the referendum was rejected by 514 votes to 71." Sad
  15. That's an argument I hear a lot against the living wage as well. If your business can't afford the living wage and can't run a profit without tax cuts from the government then maybe it's not meant to be. It's harsh but protecting public services is more important than helping small business.
