  1. If 3rd it’s either Cologne Sunday, Frankfurt Monday, or Munich Tuesday! Long way to go before we have to worry about this 🤔!
  2. In case anyone thinking of booking this is not accurate. If we win the group or are 2nd. We would play on Saturday the 29th in either Berlin (2nd in group) or Dortmund if (1st in group! . If we are one of the best third qualifiers its then all over the place.
  3. Train wise have been fortunate to get: Mainz to Munich 1st class, Munich to Nuremberg 2nd class, Nuremberg to Koln 1st Class, Koln to Stuttgart 1st class and Stuttgart to Kalsruhe airport 2nd class for £120 each!
  4. My thoughts are. There are a lot of eye watering fares on some of the routes I’ve looked at around game days. The whole German rail system seems to work on looking at potential demand and days of travel. Eg Fridays look dearer than other days throughout the whole year. So day of travel could skew your price. Also if you’ve already got at least 25,000 Scotland fans all looking to get from Munich to Cologne between games in addition to normal travellers, there is no way that everyone will get on trains at the times and/or at the cheap prices that everyone would like. Some of the fares released so far are also in to the €29 and €39 price ranges. So why not buy? In addition only 2 tickets can be bought with each match ticket and you get automatic seat reservations with these. (The tickets I’ve bought in the last week with automatic reservations don’t allow you to choose your seats but allocate you an unchangeable seat). It may then be a bit more hassle for bigger groups to get organised to buy tickets and also to get everyone to sit together on the train unless the system allows you to book multiple Euro 2024 train tickets together in one transaction and/or allow you to choose seats.
  5. Are you a virgin media customer!? It stopped me. Try switching off WiFi and go on to normal data. Worked for me.
  6. If your only paying a small premium on the 2nd class fare the extra space especially if you’ve luggage in busy trains is probably worth it. I’ve 2 trains booked one of 4 hours first class booked, 2nd one an hour journey just booked 2nd!
  7. Download the app! Works well and tickets held there!
  8. On sale in both places but only until June 16th. Will move + 1 day each day! I’d book direct with deutchebahn!, rather than the Trainline! The first 2 trains I booked were simple everything in English, and tickets directly available on their app immediately on booking!!
  9. Or alternatively use the slightly later arriving train from the North from Falkirk.
  10. Obviously a few raw nerves it was tongue in cheek! And I didn’t get all Fan First tickets!
  11. Heres an option one way to Munich day before the game from London that’s still cheap and not too ridiculous a journey. Can’t book train for another few weeks but train detail is from 2 weeks before and likely to be identical times and prices.
  12. Based on a bit of booking and travelling low cost airlines will usually find a level after a big demand like has happened. However if there are only a few seats left it won’t fall that much from current prices! Not so sure about the more mainstream carriers! Obviously the other thing to do is look at countries that haven’t qualified and go via there!
  13. That’s a good point re the points and 2 upcoming away games! Hadn’t even considered that! Interesting.
  14. England fan club have published figures of tickets for all stages! Up to the final 13 points the new barrier. Quite/ Very disappointing splits 🥲
  15. I think the pricing structure the problem here more than the points distribution. It’s not our fault we were drawn in position A2. National associations should have been given their tickets for this game at the same prices as all other group matches. It’s gonna have to one helluva opening ceremony to justify the €400 price difference in the top price category!!
  16. I’m a high pointer and don’t have any problem with the way these tickets allocated at all. The main reason why is because I got Fans First for all 3 games!! 😜
  17. I’m not sure that under data protection law that UEFA would be privileged to share that personal data with the SFA without having our express consent. (Which we may have given when signing up). Also UEFA would need to cancel the ticket. To be honest can’t see them going to the bother of going through 30,000 ticket sales.
  18. Based on Euro 2020! An email will come from UEFA and you go in to the ticket app and the ticket based on the email address you used in the UEFA portal to buy will magically appear. SFA have no input in process.
  19. I seriously hope you’re on the wind up with that! That’s despicable! If he gave them for nothing I could understand why you might do that for a mate! Hope the guy who sold them loses his phone on the day of the game and he can’t get in!
  20. Really feel for the 11pointers tomorrow. Especially when €400 becomes €600 only left. I’d be in pain pushing that button to approve the payment. 🤣Consider myself lucky to have had first go yesterday. I would have had first goes at the cheap tickets if they had staggered the points but they didn’t and it’s not normal practice. There will be some people from the north and the islands who have only been to home games who will have spent more in time and money going to just home games than some folk from the Central belt who’ve mixed some home games and a couple of away games.
  21. When I went in a few seconds after 12 noon there were no FF €50 tickets for Munich when I clicked on the dropdown) didn’t just dive up to the €195 ones, but continued to click on the €50 ones probably about 10 times and one appeared in basket about a minute later. Same thing happened with the Swiss game. By the time I got to the last game was so happy I’d managed FF in first 2 just went for Cat 3 after first few attempts to get FF tickets failed. There is no logic in why that happened at the start, just the vagaries of the system. My fellow old git supporter (sitting next to me) not as IT wise or dexterous got a Munich FF ticket about 2 minutes after I did. He lagged even further behind me (about 5 minutes)with the Cologne game and again got an FF ticket. I think there’s a big element of luck in this as well. Looks like tickets jumping in and out of baskets a bit certainly at the start.
