  1. Roses are red, Violets are blue, I've got Tourettes, Thundercats
  2. Thought Filth was great. Not quite up there with Trainspotting, but excellent nonetheless.
  3. Seems very positive: http://www.wbaunofficial.org.uk/forum/showthread.php?tid=38908
  4. I downloaded some XMBC software for my laptop, but found the quality of sports streams terrible, so I stopped using it. I have a Roku, but that seems locked down to be able to do anything dodgy with. If there is a unit I could use (such as droidbox), that plugged straight into the TV with some recommended apps for decent streams/movies, then I may revisit it. I hate doing this, because it is so feckin lazy, and I could probably find out myself, but.... ....can somebody just tell me what I should go buy and what apps to download. £50 max. Sorry....cheers!
  5. Unless you are a hipster wnak, then you hate everything hipsters do, go, see, wear, eat, etc. That is the law. I hate hipsters.
  6. I'm kinda on 'the Thplinth method' since my GF started a lot of research into foods. I'm not as rigid as her tho, as I am still partial to the morning bacon roll and I need my chocolate...and my biggest weakness - beer! The biggest downside to it is all the different types of coconut oils in the kitchen now.
  7. I can take three, but as with the original request, if you are accepting non-Hotel Faro residents.
  8. Survey doesn't work, or it is rigged not for it to be FoS.
  9. Talking of food, some of the best food I have ever eaten, was in a small restaurant very near the Leidesplein called La Cacerola (Weteringstraat 41, 1017 SM) Doesn't look that fancy - very basic and rustic, not expensive, but the food was incredible. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/La+Cacerola/@52.36112,4.888748,15z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x0:0x2291dd29f4f50dee
  10. Stay down Leidseplein area. I much prefer that area to the more central ones.
  11. Just realised that Albufeira is not the name of a hotel in Faro - therefore these buses are no good for me coz I am staying in Faro! D'OH!! Sorry Robert for the confusion (that is if I was on the list)!!
  12. Why not 50th, or 25th...or 75th? Why do it on an anniversary at all - why not just build it?
  13. I went to the toilet - the queue was so long, that by the time I got back, half time was over. Missed it all!!
  14. Worse one I went to was when Man Utd visited the Blues. I have never seen so many police at a game. It was also fun in the city centre when Leicester visited!
  15. if this bus is available for non-Hotel Eva residents, then I would be interested. Defo 2 folk, maybe 3.
  16. Don't think there will be much bother at this game - everybody in the Midlands love the Baggies.
  17. As Squirrelhumper says, pubs are not a great option in the area. The only one that springs to mind is the notorious Black Horse. I'm not even sure if it is still open!! Blues fans would normally congregate in The Moseley Arms (Cheapside) and another place, which I have just seen has closed down on Googlemaps. The best close place to drink would be in town (the Digbeth side) or in Moseley. However, they would both be a bit of a walk to the stadium (give yourself 45min). As for a curry, the Balti triangle is the place. However, get a taxi there and a taxi out of there ASAP. To tell you the truth, I found good curries everywhere when I lived there, and very rarely ventured to the triangle.
  18. It all really depends on what age you are and what you are looking for. But without doubt too much. You could easily spend that time in Bangkok alone. If young and like to party then spend a Full Moon or Half moon in Kho Phangan - you'll need at least 1 day full day recovery from that alone. I'd dump Kho Samui and Phuket and either Kho Tao or Krabi (or both). 5 days in Chaing Mai - that seems along time, however I have never been there. If you go to these islands, the whole point is to chill out, get involved with what is going on and having fun. With that plan you would be getting up early, travelling, arrive, sort out what you are doing, then you are away again in a few hours. Not fun.
