  1. thats not whats happening here, you really do live up to the stereotype
  2. we all have a problem with the process, as I said yesterday I can see why Celtic would want a draw but I hope they're not moaning about being disadvantaged like Rodgers did because its simply not the case. EDIT - to clarify, I can see why a draw for venues would be requested but its not a necessity here. Celtic weren't very vocal when Aberdeen and Hearts were set to be disadvantaged but now when its all neutral they have a problem.
  3. Celtic and Rangers were also unhappy according to Anne Budge, she said none of the clubs involved were happy with the initial outcome. I'm not really understanding why Celtic would have a problem with this new decision, they are not in anyway disadvantaged by this new and much better outcome.
  4. Thats what I keep thinking, I wouldn't get home till after midnight but thats not a big issue
  5. on a positive note, I actually think this is now quite exciting for scottish football, 4 of the nations biggest clubs playing at the two national stadiums in one day. There is a chance the attendances for both could be very good with close to equal numbers. This is what we need to see. I'm looking forward to a day on the couch watching the matches. I am still thinking of going but my only option is to drive to Glasgow from just outside london, staying overnight isn;t an option because of work
  6. I didn’t know that about rangers tv. I’ve got red tv but I always forget I have it, it’s my way of giving the club something because I can’t go to games.
  7. The only part I have sympathy for is your salary, with the price of oil going up and the industry improving you should at least see your salary return to what it was. The rest is your chosen profession and you still get more than 7 weeks more time off than most people, I could sit here telling you how hard it is for a lot of my friends and family in the fishing industry, with the exception of a small few the rest of my friends and family work in the oil industry but they don’t moan about it, they understand they chose the profession and they get on with their work As for your description of onshore workers, that’s certainly not my case and not the case for most. You chosen the best case scenario to make your situation sound worse, let me show you my week but bare in mind I’m not looking for sympathy, there’s always someone worse off than me and I chose to do my line of work. 12-15 hours per day - more often than not including Saturday. Sunday I’m exhausted because of it holdiays - lucky if I can enjoy them without a phone call from work or a client in desperate need of help. I’ve not had five weeks holiday I’m year for almost four years. Even on bank holidays I find myself catching up on work because it’s peaceful with no calls. i know a few teachers, do you think their week is actually 37.5 hours? and certainly don’t get the same holidays as the kids. Even the onshore workers I know in the oils industry don’t work 37.5 hours a week im not necessarily saying this is you but I know offshore workers who openly admit they’re not actually working 12 hour shifts when away so let’s not pretend it’s a Filipino sweat shop for everyone offshore. sorry if your conditions don’t suit you and I know things have changed in the oil industry over the last few years but please don’t twist things to make your situation sound worse.
  8. Celtic have a neutral venue to play in, there is no problem here.
  9. I'd have thought the celtic captain would be chuffed at being away from hampden, remember he doesn't like hampden
  10. Which club from the four will moan at the latest decision 😂😂
  11. If Celtic go to Murrayfiled, you only get two sets of fans travelling - Celtic and Aberdeen If Celtic stay at Hamdpen - Hearts, Aberdeen and Rangers fans have to travel Its doesn't really matter, the issue has never been the distance, its the kick off times.
  12. the only suitability reaction to this latest nonsense from those running the scottish game is WHAT THE FUCK???
  13. According to Anne budge, none of the clubs involved were happy
  14. Sorry but you’ll have to point to where i said it wasn’t fair or that it is a problem. I’ve maintained since the start of the debacle that this has to be fair for all teams involved. murrayfield is a neutral venue so all four teams should be happy enough if either tie has to be moved there. I’m not sure why moving it to murrayfield would be a problem or why any of the teams need a draw to be made for the venue. If that’s what it has to be, fair enough, at least it’s fair but I don’t see it as necessary in this instance.
  15. I didn't realise wanting a fair outcome for all four clubs for a neutral semi final was considered bed wetting, if thats the case, consider my pants well and truly soaked through.
  16. It really is mind blowing how often that line has been trotted out by tims and Huns and they ignore the reply because it’s not what they want to hear.
  17. I assume macy was replying to me but I have his ramblings on ignore. Celtic have the advantage of having their own end, a minor psychological one but still an advantage. in this situation they'd likely have 40K+ fans because of the kick off times Whats that got to do with creating a neutral semi final where each club should have the best opportunity to fill 50% of the stadium with their fans?
  18. I noticed there were a few "north sea tigers" moaning because half a year off isn't enough. Some of those guys really do live on a different planet
  19. their argument seems to be they feel hearts will have an advantage, clearly dismissing the fact they have an advantage when they play at hampden. This has gone beyond embarrassing for the scottish game as a whole
  20. I have a similar IPTV deal, this is great news for those of us who no longer live local to the team we support. Any idea whehn they will start screening the games? will it be another old firm season ticket? Not having a go but why not buy rangers tv? Surely that helps your club
  21. Read elsewhwee, Celtic want a draw to see who plays at murrayfield. 🙄
  22. 1. Broadfoot confirmed this was an old SPL contract, what's in the contract anyway? Semi finals have been played away from hampden before so its not impossible to move the matches 2. Agreed 3. Agreed Its really easy to solve - One game at Hampden - 2pm Kick off - preferrably AFC v RFC. 2nd game - 5.15pm Kick off at Murrayfield. You still get the super sunday they want and nobody loses out and every fan gets the opportunity to go. BT present live from both games Police are happy too because it makes it easier to police. What I want to see is every club taking action and getting rid of the current leadership, start with that ballon knot Doncaster
  23. one thing did annoy me about Duncan Fraser the cheif exec of Aberdeen, he stopped short of stating the dons have no confidence in this current SPFL leadership. He condemned the decision to hold both matches at hampden and the kick off times but he stopped short of really going at the leadership. Until the clubs make real change, we will only see ourselves back discussing more stupid decisions made by those in charge Fraser confirmed that Aberdeen relayed their anger and dismay at the decision AT THE MEETING, Aberdeen were told to submit a counter proposal that evening , they did so in writing but the SPFL had already gone public with their decision. Anne Budge has also confirmed that none of the clubs involved were happy with this decision. It was also good to see most of the panel have a dig at that idiot Boyd for his comments last week.
  24. Just finished it on the journey to work. SPFL shown up to be extremely stupid and basically a bunch of lying bastards
