  1. 🤣 I always thought Celtic were more successful in the 80s but Rangers had 6 League Cups which brought the trophy count up a lot.
  2. If he is still banging them in in March, Clarke has a decision to make. If he's not there it won't bother me, one good half season after a decade of football is a bit meh IMO. I think Clarke will see it the same way, especially if Nisbet kicks on from here.
  3. It is about being precious for me. Call me what you want, I'll walk it off. I don't live in Scotland anymore, down here racism is a bigger issue than sectarianism.
  4. The vote was to change it from 11-1 to 9-3 to bring in big changes. Although this would have been better, I am not convinced 9-3 would work. Scottish clubs are notorious for short term thinking and most believe they can't survive without the OF. Can you imagine if it went through? lets say 10 clubs voted for a share of gate receipts, The OF would be up in arms, threatening to leave, statements everywhere, tribunals, legal action etc. At least it wouldn't be as dull as the competition itself,.
  5. I genuinely had no idea about Airdrie. All I remember of Airdrie is their brief flirt with the top flight and a cup run in the early 90's. Sheep shaggers is banter as far as I am concerned, Aberdeen fans sing it about themselves but then again we don't end to be as precious as either side of the old firm
  6. What could have changed? I agree with you that Aberdeen should have voted differently but what could have changed?
  7. In the 80's Celtic were the most successful domestically .Aberdeen got the plaudits because they won in Europe
  8. I've never heard the word aimed at Airdrie fans, thats a new one on me. Everyone knows why its used to describe Hearts fans. The point made was the word was never used to describe protestants but the finger pointers have won Where do we stop? How about sheep shagger, should stop using that term too?
  9. Is it doesn't bother you, why advocate a ban for someone for using the word? Nil by mouth are idiots for pandering to a small group of fans who are hell bent on finger pointing. I have no doubt you would be behind Rangers during an OF match, I think everyone on the TAMB new that 🤣. Unless the result has an impact on the dons, I couldn't care less. Personally I would prefer them both to fuck off to the moon and play each other 38 times per season.
  10. https://inews.co.uk/news/afghan-refugee-couple-moved-to-scottish-highlands-without-access-to-mosque-and-halal-meat-regret-fleeing-death-1336018 Must be quite grim if you want to leave Wick for Kabul
  11. I still can't believe the word hun has made it on to the naughty list. It has no sectarian connotations at all but I guess the old "say something often enough it becomes reality" applies here. The word hun was used to describe a rangers fan not a protestant. I'm protestant by the way, the word doesn't offend me in the slightest. Out with a few rangers supporting dafties I don't know a single football fan who thinks the word hun is sectarian.....except you of course....a hearts fan. Aye right 🤣🤣🤣🤣
  12. He's not wrong. Scottish football is slowly returning to what it was pre celtics 9 in a row.
  13. Booked ten times in total last season, 5 this season with one straight red. You'd think his manager would have a word.
  14. I remember butcher against aberdeen in both matches. He was sent off in one and should've been sent off in the other
  15. Not sure what your rant was about, not seen the tackle and don't really care. I was offering friendly advice. If that's what constitutes a bite nowadays, you enjoy it. 👍🏻
  16. Try kerrydale Street Ramy. You'll get plenty of replies from like minded people
  17. Who's getting their knickers in a knot? I didn't suggest anyone else suggested he'd start either You're the only one making this a choice between watt and brown, I wanted to know why? I see watt competing with Nisbet for his spot Watt has a questionable attitude and has done sweet FA since scoring against Barca. The only reason anyone is suggesting Watt for a call up even if is just the squad is because he's having his first purple patch.....at the age of 27 soon to be 28. If we call up Watt, you have to drop someone. I don't see anyone deserving to be dropped in favour of Watt yet.
  18. Apologies I got the league wrong. As I said, I'm not really getting deep into an argument about this being a choice between watt and brown, its not. I actually found it weird your brought brown into this and i should have just said that The point I was making is watt has done absolutely fuck all in his career, he managed 9 league goals in Scotland and a few want him called up? 🤦🏻‍♂️
  19. And that's exactly why I said he is competing with Nisbet I'd keep Nisbet because there's not much difference between the two except Nisbet is with the squad each time they meet and he knows the system. The 2nd issue is Watts attitude, its very much questionable
  20. One season in the championship he scored 8 at the age of 20. Its taken watt longer to do that. Watt never managed to do that till this season in the SPFL. It's not really whether it's brown or watt. My point to you had nothing to do with brown. It was that this so far looks like nothing more than a flash in the pan from watt.
