  2. Speaking as a Hearts fan I thought Celtic's response was awful. I visited their website to make sure it was real as it's the kind of thing I would expect from an internet WUM. Can the neutrals commenting on the statement make themselves known please as I appreciate that I'm biased.
  3. There's a reason they were 2/1. I'm glad I backed Hearts earlier in the week when the price was more generous.
  4. My parents get 2-3 calls a day from these idiots. It doesn't matter how many times you tell them to badger off they keep calling back. I put him next to the TV when a chat show was on last time I was home. That seemed to confuse him for a minute or two, "Sir, are you talking to me?" Think I'm going to put him on 'hold' then play a Cannibal Corpse CD at him next time.
  5. It's not a case of whether or not we're subsidised at the moment. It's a case of how things will be after independence. Can we retain the business we currently have whilst attracting new investment? The fact that certain banks were talking about moving their headquarters indicates that we may see a drop in revenue in the short term. Nothing whatsoever. It's in everyone's best interests to move forward together to make Scotland as prosperous as possible. Unfortunately I don't think the chances of this happening are particularly high.
  6. Additionally, the fire outside The Herald's office was the results of an electrical fire.
  7. Both my parents are English. My dad was a definite yes. Mum hasn't made her preference known but I think she was probably no. I think it's safe to assume that most people from other parts of the UK would have voted no. They probably think that it makes their lives easier in the long run.
  8. Not necessarily. My stance has always been that emotionally I wanted Scotland to remain within the UK. Rationally I wanted whatever was best in terms of healthcare, jobs, education and so on. Like Craig said there would have been a lot of people that where on the fence but decided it wasn't worth the risk. The news that Lloyds were planning to move their headquarters wouldn't have helped matters as they're a major employer in Edinburgh. Get all of the unanswered questions sorted and the general consensus may change. I thought Salmond's one big mistake was agreeing to have the referendum this early. Another few years of planning and things may have been different.
  9. Song needs a bit of work as most of them won't have a vote. Otherwise I thought it was quite funny.
