  1. I only just realised this. But, seedings for the Finals are based solely on the Teams Qualification record in the current Groips! Excluding results versus tge bottom team in 6 team groups. So, that means 5x Pot 1 spots still up for Grabs (Germany is automatically a 1st Pot Team). And 6 Pot 2 Spots. Currently, Scotland are a Pot 1 Team, absolutely amazing! Personally I'm now hoping we qualify with a minimum Pot 2 Starting Spot! Amazing to be talking like this! For all the current Pot Placings, go here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UEFA_Euro_2024_qualifying#Overall_ranking
  2. Scotland are 30th in the World, or 16th of all European Countries, I thought we would be higher!: https://www.fifa.com/fifa-world-ranking/men?dateId=id14058
  3. Obv seeing Scotland in a Finals would be a Bucket List for me! I prey they make it. But yeah, It will be an immense trip anyway. I was in Germany for the WC in 2006. The buzz around the place was extraordinary! I was limited to Frankfurt as my German friends live around there. But, it is a very cool place to be if anybody is looking for a base. The big Market that they have twice a week is phenomenal! Best place for a few Beers in Frankfurt!
  4. £210 Return with only hand luggage. £280 with 1 Hold Luggage. A total bargain, 1st flight on 19th means you can easily make any game that day, even Hamburg!

Today, flights are available up to and including Thursday 27th June which is the Rest Day between Group Games and KO's. 1st flight to Frankfurt on 19th June allows you to get to any game on 19th June (Start of the 2nd Games in Groups). Last Flight Back on 27th June, allows you to travel back to Frankfurt from any game that took place on the 26th (The last Group Games). If you wanted to add unlimited Train Travel when there, 7 Days cost you around 280€, or, 220€ if under 27 Years Old. That is a phenomenal option for anybody who wants to hit a Match Day City every single day!
  7. I'm not reading it like that for this Tournament. They seem to say they will be played in the match sequence which they have already detailed. Numbers 1 to 36 being the sequence. And, it is only the Standard Kick-Off Times that are to be detailed (And added to the Fixture List). They go on to include the KO's in that part too (47 Matches and not just 1-36 for the Group Stage) which is why I think they are only referring to Standard Kick-Off Times. Germany's 2nd Game is in the middle on a Wednesday so a 6pm KO is plausible. Say as opposed to an afternoon game. Their last Group Game would be on the Sunday following that. But, I agree to concede you could be right as it is not absolutely clear!
  8. Yeah, it looks like they will be played in sequence according to the Schedule I posted: 4 4. Finalisation of the tournament match schedule The tournament is played according to the match sequence defined in art. 19.02 of the competition regulations. The match schedule has been published in May 2022 (see below). Based on the results of the final tournament draw, which determine the group compositions and each team’s group position, the UEFA administration will allocate the standard kick-off times (15:00 CET, 18:00 CET and 21:00 CET) to the remaining 47 matches and publish the finalised schedule as soon as possible after the draw.
  9. Hey M8, Spot on on the Draw Information! So it does make it more difficult. As Games could be played in any Order like you said. Although, I think I have calculated the order of the Games at least and which games are early and late, etc. Group Games are numbered from No1 to No36. No 1 Being Germany's opening match. If you make an assumption that they will be played in order from 1-36 you can work it out: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hea5JsO2n1d83rjAcQmjNzDiyH9YeC-b/view?usp=sharing
  10. I'm not seeing anything in the UEFA Rules for the Tournament that says this. Where did you find this info? As it is such a big change since previous finals, I am skeptical. But I assume you saw something official detailing this? I checked the Rules for the Finals and there is nothing mentioned, although they do say 'Additional Conditions may be applied', It all starts on Article 18: https://documents.uefa.com/r/Regulations-of-the-UEFA-European-Football-Championship-2022-24/Article-17-Match-system-play-offs-Online
  11. FLIGHTS ARE OUT! On Lufthansa, Flights are out up to and including the Rest Day in between the Group Games and the KO's! Cost=£488 for 2 including 1x Hold Luggage Guaranteed we can hit the 2nd and 3rd Group Games in every Group. Frankfurt is our base. Hotels Booked on a Free Cancellation Deal in the cities which are 3 Hours or over on a Train from Frankfurt. Planning on following Scotland and Germany in the Group Games (draw permitting). Depending on how the Draw goes, 279€ for unlimited Travel on German Trains for 7 Days might not be a bad option! If anybody is interested in also taking a punt on this, here are my plans with the Cities I have Hotels Booked!: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1STFpBaWA8qgVAwzeH1_DdRvJJiiGRBELzpcbVl_3rO0/edit?usp=sharing

Gla-Larnaca - 30th Aug - £165 Per Person Lar-Gla (Via Paris with Over nighter) - £137 Per Person EXPENSIVE! You can still get flights from Edinburgh for £300 Return Easy!
  13. Legendary! Is it possible to keep this page updated? I don't have Facebook so can't see your Posts there. On the Fan Card, I was messing about with it just there and as it stands currently, you would need a Cypriot Post Code to complete the Application. And if you do get Tickets to sell. I will take 3! Not followed Scotland Away for Years so doubt I will have enough Points. Away Game is a present for my Boy for doing well in his Highers last Year! Great Work!
  14. I don't think it is, by the looks of it, it is just before the border. I am not 100% though.
  15. And, at long last the City of the game has been announced. 99% sure on the Stadium too, and, it's not the NEW Stadium by the looks of it! UEFA says the game is at: N/A - Nicosia https://www.uefa.com/european-qualifiers/match/2036383--cyprus-vs-scotland/ And I don't think the N/A stands for Non-Applicable...... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicosia_Atatürk_Stadium
  16. Venue (Nicosia) now showing on Google but I think that is linked to Ticket Sites? Here is the link: https://g.co/kgs/XiQivM
  17. The Fans in the Stadium are the most important thing. It is them who create the Spectacle along with the actual game itself. Jock Stein got that right. UEFA should be doing all they can to make it as easy as possible for travelling fans to attend games. Venues should be announced within 14 Days of any Draws taking place and only in EXTREME cases should the venue ever be changed. War, Natural Disasters or something of that nature.
  18. Sorry, have been posting this on the Cyprus thread. So replace Cyprus FA (CFA) with Spanish FA.
  19. Here is the Official Deadlines on Stadium Announcements. The truth is, 120 Days is not an actual Deadline. It is a deadline for PROPOSING a Stadium for the Game to take place to UEFA. There are other steps after that to take place before the FANS actually find out. The SFA could help by releasing the Stadium Announcement as soon as they know about it if they are not going to object. Here are the steps and official rules on the Matter: Step1: CFA tell UEFA the Stadium they propose to use at least 120 Days before the game takes place. Step2: UEFA then tell SFA the proposed Stadium and SFA have 3 days to decide if they want to object (there are no time scales for UEFA telling SFA the proposed Stadium) Step3: UEFA wait on the objection period ending and can then announce the Stadium. And the official Rules: Article 26 Venues and kick-off times 26.01 The associations must submit an updated list of proposed stadiums for the 2022-24 European Qualifiers to the UEFA administration by 10 November 2022 for preliminary approval. 26.02 The host association selects the venue for each match from the corresponding list of proposed stadiums and announces it to the UEFA administration at least 120 days before the match in question. 26.03 When fixing a venue, the host association must take into account the length of the journey to be undertaken by the visiting team. In principle, the venue for a match must be no more than a 90-minute bus drive from the nearest international airport with daily flights from/to other European cities. 26.04 Any objection by a visiting association regarding a selected venue must be communicated to the UEFA administration, with the host association in copy, within three days of the venue being confirmed by UEFA. The UEFA administration will take a final decision, confirming the venue or requesting that the host association propose another in accordance with these regulations.
  20. There is a further 3 Days where the SFA could object. So the SFA should know which Stadium the CFA have selected at some point soon. So we should know at some point after UEFA have told the SFA then waited a further 3 days. It'll be Nicosia as Davy said though!
  21. Bummer, Venue will not be announced tomorrow. Here are all the Rules around Venue Selection: Article 26 Venues and kick-off times 26.01 The associations must submit an updated list of proposed stadiums for the 2022-24 European Qualifiers to the UEFA administration by 10 November 2022 for preliminary approval.
  22. I'm sure everyone knows that UEFA Rules state that Match Venues must be confirmed a minimum of 120 Days before the fixture takes place. 120 Days before the Cyprus game is Thursday, so look out for official confirmation then! Nicosia here we come! (officially announced Thursday!)
  23. I have a place booked in Nicosia and Larnaca from Weds 6th to Saturday 9th so I'm looking to cancel the right one. I have 99.9% faith in Davy that we are heading for Nicosia. But no harm in waiting before I go cancel the Larnaca Apartment. I really can't wait! UEFA need to sort this, 6 Months should be the minimum time to set Stadiums in advance. #ForTheFans
