  1. It was. And I hope so. This is a clear sign that, no matter how well he's playing, he won't make the Euro squad. That would be good. Would be funny if ended up back at Lisbon.
  2. It was Pick. They're owned by Sky, so it was them that made it free to air. At the moment it's Sky Sports Main Event for all three.
  3. "Says it all really your statement there?" Well said, Yoda.
  4. That's the thing, though, McLean shouldnt be asked to play in the double-pivot. If he does play there, he should be allowed to get forward, same goes for Fleck and McGregor and McTominay. I thought Gauld was a dead cert to get in.
  5. I have watched Allan McGregor over the years. I know what he's all about. Doubt at 39 he's peaking. Attention seeking? Fine. You know what the perfect solution is? Stop giving me attention. Block me. Do it.
  6. Can't argue with that. Just looking at the stats for the Israel and Slovakia loses. We were unlucky. We had always twice the shots that Israel did.
  7. lol It does. Or how about David Bowie's "Changes" Che-che-che-che Adams (Turns and scores a goal) Che-che-che-che Adams Not that I'm warming to the idea of him playing for us, though.
  8. Another case from five years ago that was different, but equally as tragic.
  9. He deserves a lot of credit for changing a failing system. Levein and Strachan switched, briefly, then reverted back. At least Clarke had the testicular fortitude to stick with it, in the face of criticism, both online and in the press.
  10. I'll take your word for it. I've only watched Rangers about twice this season. But, I will take the word for SofaScore. This season he has a pretty average score in Europe:
  11. If so, we won't be singing it often. In five seasons he's only scored more than seven goals in a season, once. Bearing in mind that he was in the Championship for three seasons.
  12. Apart from De Gea, Allison, Mendy, Ederson, Henderson, Schmeichel, Fabianski, Patricio, Pickford, Lloris, Martinez, Guatia, Johnstone, Meslier, Pope, Sanchez, Forster, Areola, Dubravka, Ramsdale. Then we get to the Championship... If you mean, he's the best keeper in Scotland, then fine. But the UK? He wouldn't make the bench at Old Trafford.
  13. Yeah, it's the "for time being" that must hurt Gauld. It means, unless there's a massive call off list for the Euros, he wont play a part. He's had a hell of a bad since since he left Dundee United. Had to start from scratch, and now, he's going head to head against big names and big teams, and he's making a name for himself, In one of the top performers in a league that's miles better than the SPL. Being ignored for McLean, who is being overshadowed weekly by a 20 year old, and Armstrong who is... Armstrong. It's short sighted. Gauld is only 25. He should be in the squad. And why there's 4 strikers is beyond me.

  15. As someone who has now seen Gauld play in more than a dozen leagues matches this season, being the best player on the park, more times than not. I'm shocked that he's not in the squad. He must be so disappointed. What more does he have to do? He's performing each week in the Portugese Premeira Liga. Performance wise, he's one of the best players in the league. He's the club captain. He takes every single set piece. Yes, his club are bottom, but that's because his team mates aren't as good as him. It's not fair to tag all of their players with the same brush. If he were playing with Lisbon or Benfica or Porto, playing is he has been, he'd be in the Scotland squad. He should be in over Armstrong, McLean, Fraser or McBurnie.
  16. (Double posting as I got McTominay's year wrong. He first played for Scotland in March 2018, not 2020) Chalk and cheese: As a youth, Scott McTominay attended training camps with the Scottish youth sides. McTominay was approached by Malky Mackay in November 2017, but Mackay was told that McTominay was focussing on cementing a first team place (He hadn't started an EPL match by that point.) In March 2018 he accepted his first call up, by that point he had started several matches, home and abroad. Scott McTominay never turned us down. He was waiting to cement a first team place at Manchester United. I don't, for an instant, think he was deliberating between us and England. He was always going to choose us. Che Adams, however, turned how an initial approach in November (when he was a £10m rated Birmingham striker). He turned down three approaches from 3 different Scotland managers, for four years. McTominay waited four months, Adams waited four years. I doubt Adams had ever watched a Scotland match or even visited Scotland So yeah, McTominay DIDN'T do the same thing.
  17. No. If you retire, you retire. I had no complaints when Paul Lambert was back out of retirement. Lambert was genuinely world class. McGregor makes one decent (lucky) save in Euro and now he's Peter Schmeichel.

  19. Yeah. It's quite clear now that you were just trying to act the big man, score points and play to the gallery. PM me and we can discuss it further.
  20. Ok. Read this part, as it stands to clarify the aforementioned sarcasm: "As I said, been happening to me since November. I flagged it up. I got laughed at... ironically. Now it's widespread. There's 1 anonymous poster. Probably them. Personally, it's been happening so long to me that I don't even notice anymore." I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say that you didn't get the sarcasm, as, if it's an attempt to score points... it's weak. Try harder. You're completely trolling the thread. If you want to continue with this discussion, PM me. I would be happy to continue off board.
  21. Do you not get sarcasm in your world? Maybe I shouldve said "Yes. Whilst I was there I tagged myself with 10.</Sarcasm>"
  22. We already do when we play Christie or Fraser. That's another word for a second striker.
  23. I'm asking you again, highlight the part where I said, and I quote, "I went through 18 of your posts and emoji tagging them for no reason." I never said such a thing.
  24. I have literally no idea what you're talking about. When did I say "I went through 18 of your posts and emoji tagging them for no reason. "? Highlight it.
