  1. He can finish? His previous two goals were from a combination of 4 yards.
  2. It's what Dykes gives us that I like. He's the best option we have In the air. Without doubt. Dykes actually shrinks when he leaps. I think he could make it in the EPL after another couple years In the Championship. He's a better finisher than Adams.
  3. lol Thanks for the kind offer, but... nah!
  4. Yeah. There's actually no reason anymore. Contributing 16 goals now in 32 starts (for relegation fodder). He's the captain. Takes all the ser pieces. If Steve Clarke isn't aware of these numbers and facts then I'm probably correct about my guess that Clarke hibernate between Scotland matches.

Yeah. Last night he even posted "McBurnie is shite" on the "Players in action" after I posted. I wasn't even aware that Oliver McBurnie was playing last night. No point telling his shadow, though. Both have splashed on too much "Obsession for stalkers". And apparently I "spam" threads and ruin them. Yeah, nothing spammy and ruiny about the quotes that you posted of him. And according to the other one I'm always here. (even though we have pretty much the exact same post per year ratio) What's the current buzz phrase here? Not "self indulgent" or "deflection"... ummm... oh, "lack of self awareness". Yeah. Those two (among others) lack it.

I suspect you aren't alone. He won't block me as he'd have one less thing to moan about. It's just a case of one person speaking on behalf of the vast minority. They just don't realise it.
  7. Another goal for Gauld. Won the penalty and took it. Should've scored another chance but skimmed the post. Should've had two assists if the striker took either chance.
  8. Oh. Sorry. Yeah, neither are some Scots. Which is why we arent independent as we speak.
  9. Confirmed. Gilmour is on the bench. At least he'll get a winner's medal. (If Chelsea win)
  10. Nah. I didn't say that English people were pathetic. It's true, though, trawl the Daily Mail, etc, pages when it's an article about Andy Murray, Nicola Sturgeon or Scottish independence, there'll be tens of thousands of disparaging and disrespectful comments. I would like to think the hostility is in the minority, though. It's a fallacy when people say the rivalry is one sided, it clearly is not.
  11. He has, but he also had an injury to his ass. His ban ended last week but he wasnt on the bench because of the injury.
  12. Gauld almost an assist and a goal in the first 6 minutes. Hopefully Steve Clarke is watching.
  13. Cooper on the Leeds bench. At least he's fit. Hopefully he regains his place in the first XI soon.

I'm allowed my opinion. This is the TA section. Not the political section. (Cancel culture in motion)

2% of the population of the USA are Native American. That is also heartbreaking. We don't talk about that. As I said, there is a political section on the other side of the bored... I mean, board.
  16. Fred cost Manchester United £47m. Going by that, as a gauge, Billy Gilmour is worth £100m.

Yeah. I know. But UEFA say one thing and do the comple opposite. The Glenn Kamara racism row was a prime example of that. If this continues into the Summer, the only thing that will happen is that their home international matches will be switched to a neutral venue. No chance of them being banned or expelled or anything.
  18. Early speculation Is it'll be Jorginho and Kante.

Probably not as I was still in nappies. 😛 Nope. Football (or sport) shouldn't mix. I mean, where does it stop? Do we ban USA from all sporting events because of their extermination of Native Americans? (Oh. By the way, if Turnbull, Gauld and Gilmour get called up for Euro 2020 I will remind you that you said their selection were "wild cards" and "left field" )
  20. I don't think the lack of fans is going to deter my enthusiasm. I mean, watching football with no fans fans is the new normal. It's now 30 days till we play the Czechs and I'm definitely feeling it. I don't remember much of the build up to Euro 96 (I remember the games like they were yesterday) but I do remember France 98. I was so nervous pre-match against Brazil that I was in the bathroom for about 2 hours. And with good cause, we were up against peak Ronaldo and Rivaldo. I am nervous this time around, but this England team arent a patch on their Euro 96 side. Against the Czechs we're unbeaten in four. We have an unbeaten record against Croatia, in five. If we maintain those records and get something against England, we can get to round 2. Lyndon Dykes has been the find of the past decade, but I wish we had a plan B... Someone with pace and a good finish.

What has any of that got to do with FIFA, UEFA or the SFA? I don't know what's going on in Israel and I don't want to know. It's boring. There are political threads in the non TA Section. Warning, though, reading them will send you to sleep.
  22. I just hope McBurnie learns from this and grows as a person... as well as a footballer. It's up to him, though. You can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped.
  23. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.thestar.co.uk/news/crime/man-involved-in-oli-mcburnie-street-fight-releases-statement-about-sheffield-united-player-3236493%3famp
  24. It's not a nuanced issue. It just boils down to the Scotland and England rivalry. That's it. I've seen it on the main sites of Everton and Arsenal. (But so much Manchester United and Liverpool. Maybe because of their Scottish connections) Them mocking our football or comparing our football to theirs is silly, given the vast differences in money and resources available. They soon fall into silence when you compare the success of the English national team to that of France, Brazil, Italy, etc.
