  1. I doubt any of the players would complain about being involved with the national team. Plus it'll give Steve Clarke a chance to see more of the fringe players in the flesh. What's the point? 22 managers have confirmed their provisional squads. 12 teams have named squads between 28 - 36.
  2. Maguire is a major doubt. Philips is just back from injury. Henderson is just back from injury. Pope is injured. Rashford needs a a shoulder operation.
  3. Bingo! Having them integrated in the squad is definitely better than dragging off a beach somewhere as they're in party mode.
  4. If the squad is bigger it'll mean the potential replacement players will train and acclimatise themselves to the group... as opposed to being drafted in at the 11th hour, not knowing tactics, not knowing the process, etc. This is why most of the other countries are picking larger squads.
  5. And new customers get a $2 voucher. And you can use that in conjunction with the $5 one. That's about ÂŁ4.95 off.
  6. Looking at the England squad, they're more in trouble that they (or we) think. They have one goalkeeper who has more than 1 cap and that's Jordan Pickford...... And their three out-and-out strikers (Kane, Calvert-Lewin and Watkins). Take out Kane and those two only have 8 caps between them. I'm getting more confident of beating them, by the day.
  7. GOALKEEPERS Jordan Pickford, Everton: 30 caps Dean Henderson, Manchester United - 1 cap Sam Johnstone, West Brom - uncapped Aaron Ramsdale, Sheffield United - uncapped DEFENDERS Trent Alexander-Arnold, Liverpool - 12 caps, 1 goal Reece James, Chelsea - 6 caps Harry Maguire, Manchester United - 32 caps, 3 goals Conor Coady, Wolves - 4 caps, 1 goal John Stones, Manchester City - 42 caps, 2 goals Luke Shaw, Manchester United - 9 caps Kyle Walker, Manchester City - 55 caps Ben Chilwell, Chelsea - 14 caps Kieran Trippier, Atletico Madrid - 26 caps, 1 goal Tyrone Mings, Aston Villa - 8 caps Ben White, Brighton - uncapped Ben Godfrey, Everton - uncapped MIDFIELDERS Jordan Henderson, Liverpool - 58 caps Declan Rice, West Ham - 15 caps, 1 goal Mason Mount, Chelsea - 16 caps, 4 goals Jack Grealish, Aston Villa - 5 caps Phil Foden, Manchester City - 6 caps, 2 goal Jesse Lingard, Manchester United - 27 caps, 4 goals Jude Bellingham, Borussia Dortmund - 2 caps Kalvin Phillips, Leeds United - 7 caps James Ward-Prowse, Southampton - 6 caps, 1 goal FORWARDS Harry Kane, Tottenham - 53 caps, 34 goals Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Everton - 7 caps, 4 goals Raheem Sterling, Manchester City - 61 caps, 14 goals Jadon Sancho, Borussia Dortmund - 18 caps, 3 goals Marcus Rashford, Manchester United - 40 caps, 11 goals Ollie Watkins, Aston Villa - 1 cap, 1 goal Bukayo Saka, Arsenal - 4 caps Mason Greenwood, Manchester United - 1 cap
  8. Same with Croatia. Clarke should've done the same thing and incorporate a few more players into the fold, just in case one or two of them have to be included in the final squad on 1st June.
  9. Newcastle United starlet Elliot Anderson back in the Scotland fold Good to hear. He's like a hybrid of McTominay and Barkley. He's currently injured.
  10. The stand outs for me are Banks (Hopefully this means the Wales rumours aren't likely to happen), Fiorini (He's having a great season for NAC Breda. They got to the promotion playoff, but lost in the final), Slicker and Mair (Goalkeepers! Yay!) Will be interesting to see how Bowie and Joseph do. Ridden? He's been around for so long that I thought he was 30. Thought this would've been the time for King and Morrison to take the step up. Scotland Under-21 Squad Scott Banks Crystal Palace FC Kieron Bowie Fulham FC Jack Burroughs Coventry City FC Logan Chalmers Dundee United FC Tom Clayton Liverpool FC Robbie Deas Inverness CT Josh Doig Hibernian FC Ethan Erhahon St Mirren FC Lewis Fiorini NAC Breda + Cameron Harper Inverness CT Kyle Joseph Wigan Athletic FC Stephen Kelly Rangers FC Brian Kinnear Rangers FC Roddy MacGregor Inverness CT Daniel Mackay Inverness CT Archie Mair Norwich City FC Lewis Mayo Rangers FC Josh McPake Rangers FC Glenn Middleton St Johnstone FC ++ Zak Rudden Partick Thistle FC Cieran Slicker Manchester City FC Ewan Urain Athletic Club Bilbao Stephen Welsh Celtic FC Ben Williamson Rangers FC
  11. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/7-horror-mistakes-led-kilmarnock-24178001 Pretty much sums it up. Teams, outwith the Old Firm, are hesitant to change and adapt to modern ideas or continental ideas. I remember Ian Cathro being mocked for his use of a laptop. How dare he! What is he, from the future?! His real name isnt Ian McFly, by any chance? Nah. That's too modern for Scottish football. Too progressive. He should've used a tablet (a stone one) and some rocks. And made the players run around in every training session till they puke. And tactics? "Punt the ball in the box at every opportunity. By law of averages a goal or two will come out if it". Scottish football will always be in the dark ages as long as the majority of its players have the power to oust a man who has worked at the very top of the game, like Alessio. Kilmarnock were privileged to have such a man. Now they're in division one. (I refuse to say "Championship") Well played.
  12. Thank you. Oliver McBurnie: Out. Ryan Jack: Out. Oliver Burke: Out. Aaron Hickey: Out. Kenny McLean. Out (Knock on wood there won't be any more. It could have been a lot worse.)
  13. On topic: Oliver McBurnie: Out. Ryan Jack: Out. Oliver Burke: Out. Aaron Hickey: Out. (Hope I haven't missed anyone)
  14. Huddersfield? Maybe that's his name. Something like that. Can't be bothered to look. I think roverboy was a genuine England fan. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. It might be a suspension for I know.
  15. Dunno. But I know which league Kilmarnock will be in next season.
  16. Don't we have an english poster? The lad from huddersfield? Yes. Yes. If you can't beat them, join them. I seriously have no idea. He hasn't posted since 2015 and he comes out of hiding to accuse me of being roverboy. I looked back on it, it's actually kiltedstreamer147.
  17. In fairness, I never went to a match. My total exposure was the TV. I was a child. When I grew up and learned of the bigotry stuff, etc, that was enough for me to wash my hands of them And people can accuse me of being whomever they wish. I really could not care less. It's not me I'm concerned about. It's the accused. Just imagine if you're a new member and a bunch of people start stalking you and harass you. Would you like it? I had a discussion with the mods. They told me roverboy was banned. After I complained about kiltedstalker living up to his name.
  18. Anywho. Back on top and away from the foundationless paranoia. Czech midfielder Lukas Provod will miss Euro 202 because of a torn knee ligament and meniscus.
  19. Do I regularly watch Scottish football? No. Watching the Scottish cup final justifies it. Yeah. I wasn't roverboy, mate. Not that it matters. People will believe what they believe. Weren't you once accused of being me? The guy who threatened vanderark (sp) and now this guy, probably.
  20. I didn't even have the net back then.
  21. Of anything. You said that I am the guy who threatened you with violence. No evidence. If you think I would threaten violence on anyone on here, you really haven't being paying attention. But as you were.
  22. I stopped supporting Rangers when I was about 15.
  23. I have no idea what follow follow is. Guessing it's a Celtic site? Yeah. I don't support celtic, mate. More paranoia is showing As far as I can see, two newbies have blown a gasket and got banned as a result of being harassed.
  24. So, harassing and stalking random people is what, hazing? I mean, a guy threatened to rip your face off a while back. Not that I'd condone it, but is it justified? Ooooooohhhhh yes.
