  1. What dates are you looking at the train, that's going to be our route most likely - flying from and back to Zurich
  2. Return flights in general are a bawache as it's a holiday weekend
  3. Will be keeping my eyes fixed on the RFEF tickets page like a hawk. Flight to Madrid direct on the Wednesday evening from Zurich where I live, then high speed train down on the morning of game day. Air Bnb sorted in the old centre of Seville for 2 nights, it's all coming together lovely.
  4. Based on the other thread "Germany 24 - too soon" it's not as simple as that, which is the suspicion I had. I'll probably book up for Dusseldorf based on there being a geogrpahic cluster of stadiums in that neck of the woods then cross fingers
  5. Without wishing to sound like a right eejit, is that based on all the "2" teams - A2, B2, C2 etc being those from pot 2?

    Venue

I assume we are all collectively none the wiser about the venue for this one as it stands?
  7. Sunday, Grande Place, Monday, day trip to Bruges, Tuesday Grande Place. Job's a good'un
  8. A quick analysis of the Belgium tickets page answered that question. The yellow section as it couldn't be selected when buying "home fan" tickets. So there's 2 of us in section D right next to the TA section.
  9. Where is our allocation in terms of sections? Just so those of us in the "0 points, buy à ticket right next to the TA" boat know where to congregate.
  10. Cheers for the reminder. Just sent mine (P Dickson)
  11. Open it in Google chrome then one of the wee icons top right is translate page.
  12. In the slightly quieter pub immediately opposite the Irish pub in Bratislava me and my mate got chatting to this Greek boy, who, it turns out, was a journalist back home in Greece there on holiday conveniently at the same time as the game was on. So he decided to do an article on the Tartan Army which is now online - view in Chrome to translate it! http://www.metrosport.gr/article/atraxion-tis-mpratislavas-andres-me-ta-kilt I may be spotted in one of the photos at the bottom, on the 1 day I wasn't wearing some Scotland paraphernalia on my top half, but never mind.
  13. I think he's blaming the SFA for having to use the foreign bus company in the first place. Still nonsense patter mind.
  14. No problems. I'd never have done it if I didn't know the bus company were kosher in advance through work. Although feck organising more than a couple of buses. 1 lad organising 8 aye? Ambitious doesn't even begin to cover it.
  15. Compo out of Ryanscare?! Be better trying to get water out of a stone that you'd found in the Atacama desert .
  16. There's now 1 ticket going on these buses. 10€ , 16h30 departure First PM gets it.
  17. Would that be where Maximilian's fountain is?
  18. Any further thoughts on this? There's doesn't seem to be a central square in the old town à la Dortmund but down by the river there was 1. However the surrounding establishments looked a bit high class for a TA congregation.
  19. Hmmmm I'm a Hibs fan and was in there but had to shoot off right before full time for our train to Bratislava. Was watching the game with a couple of younger Hibs fans who were decent lads but not fans of Paterson. Hopefully it wasn't them with the pish patter.
  20. Finally, after an absolute mission waiting for my dickhead mate, we're heading into the old town
  21. Haha. Just came back to ride their WiFi for 1 pint whilst I sort some minor details out with my traveling companion. 1 pint here then back to the Highlander.
  22. My mate is a penis and missed our morning flight so I'll likely not be in Bratislava until about kick off time. Should you intrepid explorers find somewhere showing it let us know Otherwise, the Dubliner it shall be
  23. Currently in Charlie P's heading to the Highlander in a couple of hours. Very good beer selection here. Be warned, there are 2 "Highlander" pubs in Vienna. You're after the one right by Votivkirche. Search for "highlander Scottish pub" not just "Highlander"
  24. Just on the train into Vienna centre. Either the beer festival or The Highlander/Charlie P's for me
  25. That's the ruin pub right? Incredible pub, much like Budapest is an incredible place.
