Given our RB issues ( and genuinely discarding my claret and amber specs) I would suggest Paul Mc Ginn as a possible call up. Already capped by SC he has been a 'steady eddy' throughout the season playing anywhere and everywhere across the defence. Especially if the squad rises to 26 he would be a decent back up. As for SOD I think his race has run in Scotland terms.

I think we may have to review our view of the hitherto unimpressive Germany. Watched them outclass and outplay France in Lyon winning 2-0. Could have been more. Solid throughout , athletic and each player knowing exactly what's expected of them. So good were they that they resembled --- if not completely-- some of the outstanding German teams of years back. Oh joy, oh joy!!!!

Hi Cologne TA. Really struggling for a motorhome campsite. Tried Berger, Campingplatz and Goldenmeile but no luck. Any suggestions greatly welcomed including any Stellplatz which seem to offer electricity and water.

If Mc Burnie transforms himself into a regular premier league goalscorer then yes he should be considered. On that we are agreed. The issue is will he? Evidence suggests no.

Admire your belief in Mc Burnie but I think its misplaced. In my time watching Scotland seldom have I seen as inept a striker as Mc Burnie. Unintelligent, lazy , indifferent and fundamentally skill deficient. Best example check out Kazakhstan away when Mc Burnie performed like a competition winner--- and a poor one at that!! Imho Mc Burnie is the perfect example of the absurdity of the English transfer system where below average players are traded for millions. That he wore Scotland gear in Leeds amounts to the square root of hee haw.

I maybe wrong but I'm sure the commentator said a number of the Hungarian lads played elsewhere in Europe. He certainly said at least 2 of the players had been in the Hungarian A squad which of course had just finished top of their qualifying group.

A tad harsh. Remember we were the away team. When we played Hungary at FP we were clearly the better side. Also worthy of note that we were without several first picks such as Doig, Johnston and the left back who played at FP against Malta. Yup, we ain't pulling up trees but we are much better than recent under 21's.

Didn't have any difficulties booking the Tiblisi- CDG flight. Maybe I was just lucky!

Anybody arriving on the CDG- Tiblisi flight at 22.45 on Tuesday 14 th? Could split taxi/ bus costs? Begs the question of course----- what's best form of transport to get into the city centre that late?
