  1. Jimmy Hill coz he's a **** Yuri Geller for having Bawz to suggest he tried to move Gary Mac's PK in Euro 96. The number 1966
  2. How will the pink go with a Kilt? Wish home one didn't have dark sleeves. Don't know which I'll get.
  3. Well last one for North Stand was £250. And that was with England friendly. Now a competitive game against England I've told the boss that it's likely to be similar price to an Xbox one so I'm thinking it'll be over £200. Daylight robbery but I want seats for a decent sized group all together and seems the easiest if not cheapest way to go about it.
  4. With Christmas coming up been given the option by the missus of either an Xbox 1 or the money for my Scotland season tkt next year. Obvious issue straight away is that season tkt isn't out till the summer. Any guesses as to how much it'll be For the North stand.
  5. Read the title of this and thought it was a prediction for Friday night! On the subject of the retro tops did purchase the old 60's style one from burtons myself and I too have been looking for another one to add to the collection. Can't believe the irony that companies will sell retro Scorland tops and not send them to Scotland. Big money obviously made selling them to expats
  6. Also now have 3 in the mixed section for sale. Section 8 PM if wanted.
  7. Said on another predictions page I think it'll be 0-0. I know we've been playing better than ever, or at least this century, under WGS but when the fixtures came out this one to me looked scary. Towards the end of campaign, players just back from summer, Celtic players heads Down after going out of Europe, guys like S fletcher and Naisy not gettin regular football. Hope I'm wrong. In Gord we trust [><]
  8. Gutted to say it buy 0-0. Just had a feeling from day one, and then even more so when that wee greeting face traitor scored a last minute winner, that this game towards end of qualifying campaign might be a banana skin. Please prove me wrong lads. In Gord we trust. [><]
  9. Well I too am worried about everything below the equator becoming raw, having suffered this fate over the summer on a Stag do. Plan A is for kilt on the Saturday when we fly and Sunday for match day. Next two days will be put in the 'wait and see' column.
  10. I too would be interested in such a bus running from Aberdeen for the Poland game
  11. Must admit I thought "finally more Scotland games up in the north east" before realising I'll be in the Algarve and WGS and the lads. More friendlies up here please. Hampden was half empty for NI game and Easter road had impromptu naked entertainment that put me off my scotch pie
  12. Assure I'll be getting tkts and assure you I'll be waving my saltire and wearing my kilt. Glasgow in March had plenty saltires and Scotland tops etc. queens in London was obviously heavy with the 'union' flags. Hopefully IF it's Glasgow again can create an atmosphere to lift the Murray's and Leon through to the final ???
  13. Right there in the trenches with you Teaching in the North East is far from handy for even midweek home games. Will not be missing the Germany Poland double header but they will be LONG days particularly if, well I'm not tempting fate by predicting a result but won't be difficult to imagine what would make the journey worse. For away games had a happy accident when I saw Ireland away was a Saturday this year and am also able to make Faro/Gibraltar due to school holidays. Really fancied Malta away but it's a Sunday night so thank you Platini for ruining a chance of a nice holiday and match in Malta. England away I'll be praying for nice flight times from Aberdeen to Heathrow and the underground gods to be in my favour to get the match on time. Week of football has left me seething and I could accept constant midweek home games if it meant most away games were Saturdays
  14. No mention of Kris Boyd yet. Spl record goalscorer. Throws dummy out the pram when he was arguably playing at his best for a pretty good Rangers team. He's an over weight Elmer Phud now but he could have been banging the goals in against the likes of Iceland, Norway, Macedonia, Lithuania, Liechtenstein etc. boost confidence in the team and goal difference. On a side note biggest personal disappointment was when I turned to a mate in THE Norway game and said "see this guy Chris Iwelumo, he's actually been playing well this season and could really do well for us (had a few beers by the way) he could be like a Scottish Drogba!"
  15. Had beer at our seats as well in Poland. Didn't even stop to ask a steward if it was Kosher. Just good old Scottish charm got us by. It'd be too good to be true to allow us beer at the game on a Saturday 5:00 pm KO.
  16. This. Been a while actually since I've watched Anya's goal at all. Even more jazzed and still got 3 sleeps till travel and 4 to the match itself
  17. Just tried singing that at my desk, complete with Freddie style hand actions and my boss walked by. I could get use to that
  18. I'll get in on Twist and shout as well. Goes down a treat as long as someone knows the order of the words eg twist so good before twist so fine Do worry about bouncing about away up in the gods where our seats, 502, are though. Watching the England friendly yesterday and they look mighty steep. Makes tynecastle look as steep as a mobility ramp
  19. Croatia away two years ago yesterday. Up until that point winning home games was seen as an uphill struggle. Now we're gutted when we don't beat the world champions in they're own back yard!! I'd say Coratia away has been WGS's best performance because it stopped the rot and got us able to watch matches with more than just blind patriotic hope but a bit of belief we could win. Croatia at home was a great overall performance considering the opposition but they had pretty much already qualified for the playoffs and we had nothing really at stake.
  20. When watching this yesterday couldn't help but think, "that'll be Djokovic even more fired up for Wimbers giving Andy an even bigger obstacle in his path!" Oh we'll always liked Stan, even if his get up did look like it came from Timmy Mallet's summer wardrobe
  21. Not to live up to the stereotype of Stingy Scot but do I have to subscribe to read this article?
  22. Hand on heart during that move I groaned to my brother and said out loud "not another short corner" Rest is a delirious blur. I'd hope he's offered more in the number of weeks he's been away with the national team than one short corner otherwise WGS wouldn't have asked him back after his last few months work
