  1. Yip, as I thought. Run your mouth off and then can’t admit you were wrong. I think we can say that Domestic Season Ramy is well and truly back. It was nice while it lasted.
  2. Where has Cantwell said Rangers will walk the league and Celtic shouldn’t bother turning up?
  3. Hmmm. Forgive me if I think that Cantwell isn't the only one "flapping his gums".
  4. Of all the things that you could have redacted in that picture you chose the face?! 🤣
  5. I'm confused. I don't see anywhere on that link where he says that Rangers will win the league and Celtic shouldn't bother turning up?
  6. I'd be interested to read that if you've got a link.
  7. The Chinese keeper for one of England's goals yesterday was comical. You wouldn't see stuff like that at U14 level.
  8. I've seen about a game and a half of preseason and I'd say my mood at the moment is "concerned". Lammers looks a player and Dessers has looked decent in spells and it's far to early to tell on Danilo. Not seen too much of Dowell or Sterling however from the little I've seen our defence has been honking, especially down the left hand side. If we go in to the season with Barisic as our starting left back we're in bother and from what I've seen of Yilmaz he doesn't look like much of an upgrade. We've still got Goldson to come back in so he'll make a big difference and keeping Souttar fit will be massive for us as Davies looks too lightweight. We seem to be lacking something in the middle of the park so hopefully Cifuentes is the answer but I can't say he looks all that great from the clips I've seen.
  9. With all those steps I can't imagine the second half of Ben Vrackie would have been much fun in that kind of weather. We were lucky in that it was a cracking day. I said to my other half when we were on Schiehallion when we got to the boulder field that if the weather had been poor we'd probably have turned back. I'm going through to Edinburgh for the weekend tomorrow so the plan is to hit Arthur's Seat early on Friday morning. Not quite in the same league as some that I've been tackling recently but keeps the legs going! I'm hoping to fit in Ben Lomond in the next few weeks too and then that should hopefully be me ready for the Andes! 😬
  10. I think your mistake was trusting a story about Rangers from a page called “Celtic FC to the Core”. Although to be fair I’d imagine they do post a LOT of Rangers related content! And the Twitter page they’ve quoted is just some random guy. He’s got less than 800 followers and isn’t associated to any press agency or football agent. And just about every second tweet seems to be noising up Rangers fans. It’s like me putting on Twitter that I’ve heard Brendan is leaving Celtic and they’re getting Barry Ferguson to replace him and people believing it!
  11. Given that we've spent £15M or so on our forward line and now have Lammers, Dessers, Sima, Sakala, Roofe and soon to be Danilo I'd be almost certain you're not reading it correctly. Or at the very least you're not reading it in the right place.
  12. In that instance it sounds as if it would have been thoroughly deserved!
  13. Always felt as if you were a wrong glance away from a pint tumbler over your head in there! Not somewhere I spent much time in!
  14. These preseason friendlies at Ibrox have definitely been good prep for the season ahead. We’ve had a penalty in every one!!
  15. Aye that’s the one. Night and day now to what it was then. Cracking big sports bar now with good live music.
  16. Walked by it probably thousands of times, never been in (for obvious reasons! 😂). To be honest, none of the pubs in that wee stretch (even the Rangers ones) are up to much. Need to go down to Lismore or Bag O Nails before you get anywhere decent IMO.
  17. A couple of things I'd read said it was one of the easier ones so that's why we chose it (that and being in Pitlochry for the weekend!). It wasn't overly difficult, just the boulders required a lot of concentration and seemed a bit never ending at one point. I'd imagine that section must be responsible for quite a few strains and broken ankles over the years! I'm hoping to get another Munro in before I head off with Ben Lomond looking the most likely in a couple of weeks time (with Arthur's Seat in as a stop gap next weekend!).
  18. Yeah the weather most of the way up was fine but as we got to the boulder field and then at the summit it was very windy and bloody freezing so we didn't hang about too long. To be honest I'm glad I did it and I "enjoyed" it overall but I'm not sure I'd rush to Schiehallion again as the boulder section was just a slog. I climbed Ben Vrackie up that way a few weeks ago and it was a much more enjoyable climb and actually a bit tougher overall even though it's a good but smaller.
  19. In my ongoing quest to get fit for the Inca Trail in a few weeks I climbed Schiehallion at the weekend (my first Munro!!0. Not sure if anyone has done it before but that boulder field over the last third of the climb is an absolute bugger going up and down!!
  20. I could be wrong but I think if we go out in QR3 it’s Conference groups and if we lose the playoffs it’s Europa groups.
  21. Each club does have to pay towards it which is why I’m pretty sure it won’t be used in the Championship.
  22. There was a spell, like Kent & Morelos etc, where he was worth more than that but that ship has sadly sailed. I’ve seen a few people say we should have cashed in on those assets after winning the league however if that had been the case we probably wouldn’t have had the run to Seville and I’d rather have the memories of that than a few quid in the bank now that I think back on it.
  23. Decent return for a £50K signing who hasn't been the player he was under Gerrard towards the end (although he's not alone in that regard). It'll be interesting to see how he does down there.
