    Not surprised by the high turnouts at all. As expected I think. That famous YouGuv poll with a Yes lead may have helped actívate the No vote as well unfortunately.

    There is an SNP press conference pencilled in for 10am in Edinburgh, but the Guardian is saying he is in Strichen right now.

    I'm in Mexico currently. Lots of locals asking me if I have the vote, what do I want etc. Now there's a guy reading the news dressed up as a clown (yes, really) and making jokes about the amount of whisky that will be drunk whatever the result.

    Apparently there is no exit poll tonight. Why not ? Surely that makes it easier to nobble the result. Anyway it's made me even more nervous. Wish I had the optimism of so many others on here. 49 % Yes I'm afraid.
