  1. Took a while for the second email to drop for my son. Though they will be sent out in batches over a good few hours, automated. Whilst technologically it may be better, and I am baffled it has taken this long to get a ticket app on the go etc my biggest issue with it is that it is not ready for production use. All the points are taken from "Test Import" and there are large parts of it that are unstyled, making it look shoddy. I'm presuming these things will be tidied up in due course, and it was just rushed out the door by Secutix to meet the deadline. I wouldn't necessarily lay the blame at the door of the SFA specifically on that one, we've all been promised the world by 3rd party contractors and then let down when it came to the crunch.
  2. You can choose all price points in the ballot, but quantities might be the issue with those ones.
  3. Saw Hungary ticket when I logged in but couldn’t add to basket. In fairness, there’s no way I would have managed to get another for the wee man and I knew chances were slim today so overall not too disappointed. In the ballot again so not all hope is lost.
  4. I'm the same, I can't justify/afford €800 for two football tickets and everything else involved in going. Will start saving for Euro 2028!
  5. Excellent, and apologies for the confusion
  6. I think the issue here is that UEFA are selling the tickets, and the SSC are the "middle man" to a certain extent. How much control the SSC have over the process is hard to say, but my guess is minimal. UEFA dictate the prices and the terms in which each association can sell those tickets. UEFA are selling the tickets through their site, not the SSC so will be fully managing the process and will want their money direct from fans, not via the SSC collecting it and sending it on. The quicker the cash hits their accounts the better. There has been a balls up today for sure, but all UEFA will have done is void the access codes that were assigned to the SSC and generate new ones with a valid start date of 12 tomorrow. The SSC essentially have to do what UEFA tell them.
  7. I just created a new one, no bother. Not sure the email addresses have to match now, I may have been mistaken about that one.
  8. Ah, apologies. I thought I'd seen somewhere that the email used for the UEFA account had to be the same email as the one registered in your SSC Account. My bad.
  9. Not to panic you, but I had that the other day and contacted UEFA about it. They told me that "there was something wrong with my account" and told me to create a new one, which I did. Not sure how that works now with the emails having to match the SSC one though.
  10. Someone at the SFA is clearing their desk as we speak. I'm guessing there was an error in the script used to generate the lists of emails, and they now have to check the lists again. Or they used an old list and generated the emails from that.
  11. Perfect! Thanks, was concerned I missed an email having updated my email address the other day!
  12. The adult can order on behalf of the child, as confirmed in this comment:
  13. You need to be over 16 to register for an account on UEFA, so I'm sure there will be a solution.
  14. I'm on 10 points (or will be after Sunday) but not holding my breath for SSC tickets. As you say, there are high numbers around that point so chances are slim. Not given up all hope, but equally won't be surprised to miss out.
  15. I don't think it will be. UEFA will want the cash in from folk who might get to see their team. From their perspective, no point in waiting for a decent chunk of your customers to find reasons not to pay for their tickets. My gut is they will require payment for ballot tickets before the draw in order to maximise their revenue.
  16. That's what I am banking on! Long shot I know, but at least I will have tried.
  17. Do we know when the cut-off is likely to be? I'm guessing after the March games which would bump me to 11 points (assuming we have a home game in March) which might be just under the required number. Circumstances dictate I am unlikely to get an away game in, if there were any, before then.
  18. I'd far rather test the defensive attributes of Cooper, Taylor and Patterson against players who pose a challenge than watch them stroke the ball about the back for 90 minutes against a minnow. No value in that, can do that in training all day long. I think Clarke is very good at looking at the big picture and knows there is a process and plan between now and the Euros (and beyond) and is working towards that. Yes he wants to win every game, but knows there are different things to look at that are not 100% result focussed to the detriment of other areas.
  19. Keepers aren't rotated in the same way as outfield players generally, but would you want someone to make their debut against a top side in a major tournament? Whilst I have doubts over their quality compared to Gunn and Gordon, still useful to play the keepers last night. We know what Porteous offers, and offering players such as Cooper, Patterson, McLean more time in our system and tactics is only a benefit. They get used to what is being asked of them, where they should be etc and that can only be a benefit when it comes to the future. The more practice they have in the system the easier it is to slot in when asked. The reason Considine was called up a couple of years ago was because he played a back 3 at Aberdeen and was easier to slot in if needed.
  20. I thought they played well, and the most attacking I've seen against a top side for a while. It was good to see how well McTominay and Gilmour were on the ball, especially under pressure. I thought those 2 in the middle of the park were always showing for the ball and offered an out ball throughout the game. On the ball we weren't afraid to pass it out from the back and play our game which was nice to see, often against the bigger sides we've frozen up a bit and not played our natural game. The biggest issue I had with the England game was that we didn't play our usual game and seemed a bit in awe of the bigger team. That was not an issue last night which was good to see. I think it was beneficial for Clarke to have an understanding of a system that seemed a better balance of attack and defence than we've seen previously, and slotting in the first choice players offers hope that we can compete against some of the bigger sides.
  21. The tactics from Clarke have been good I think. We all know the personnel are nowhere near a full strength side, but we’ve looked composed on the ball at times and had the right ideas at times. We’ve not just sat everyone behind the ball and have tried to get men forward when we can. I thought against Croatia and even England at times that the midfield was completely overrun and lacking, with sitting too deep at times. Tonight we’ve pushed up and tried to press and gain the ball back higher up. A bit more bravery at times and we could have created more chances. This might form a bit of a blueprint of how we setup against bigger teams next year with a better balance between stopping the opposition and trying to get forward to hurt them when we can.
  22. I actually really like his pragmatism and level-headedness in the job. Instead of getting carried away he seems to have a way of cutting through the noise to the important aspects of the situation. He rightly pointed out we couldn't qualify on Sunday if we hadn't been so good in the group so far, and instead of getting involved in the goal controversy he took it for what it is. I enjoyed his "you can show it as many times as you want" comment as ultimately it doesn't matter what happened or why, the fact is it was disallowed and we lost so let's get on with dealing with that situation instead of being distracted with refs/VAR etc.
