sjc1987 replied to Goozay's topic in Republic of Ireland v Scotland
front few rows of block 501 was a cracking view. -
We had a spar shop just around the corner from us that stocked it. We were staying in Ballbriggan though.

Went on a taxi tour of Belfast on route back to the airport...WOW! its 2015 and some of the things you see is unbelievable. Maybe just the time of year we are but seems to be a far bigger issue raised and pointed out the identity on the Protestant side whilst the calic side just seem to be quietly going about their business.

Amazing weekend, probably a lot different to most of the fans over there but a totally amazing weekend. Weather superb, spent sunday on the beach which i never imagined when i planned the trip. Home via belfast and the city tour to see some truley frightening areas. Even got myself engaged in Dublin

Cheers for the post. As said in early posts here i think its the people selling them who have made a massive @rse of this and now panicking that they haven't got the tickets to meet the demand. Can see a few angry fans at that office at 12 on saturday but all the best to everyone who has bought them. -
probably belfast at this late stage. Booking.com or laterooms normally good for a quick comparison.
-
im in row D. Bought duo and sold via Viagogo. No information about who the buyer is until you ship the tickets and it was an address down south so certainly 1 england fan was in that section lol.

A version of Gordon Strachans Tartan Army like this would be outstanding

even booking a table is a bit of a hassle. even if its an hour wait when you arrive there is a spoons next door you can go to and have a drink while you wait for your table so not a complete disaster if your prepared to wait.

If you are walking from the city centre can you access the East stand from the road that goes behind the Away (South) stand or do you need to go around the opposite way?

Any Questions For Your Trip To Dublin?
sjc1987 replied to Irishandproud's topic in Republic of Ireland v Scotland
just off St Stephens green i believe so 25-30mins walk from there to the ground. -
They are what they are mate a ticket company who are paid to distribute tickets. the wont care who gets them.

My first trip to wembely for an FA cup game i had spare ticket and arranged a pre-match meet at the statue. Arrived early passed touts buying tickets for more that i was getting for mines. Stood waiting an hour over 50 calls made before the phone went off and no response till the monday to say sorry i didnt travel. By time i had waited and gave him a fair chance it was too late to then get back down to the touts to sell it and make it back to the ground for kickoff etc. Lesson learned. Far more stressful than its worth.
