  1. Not anyone, but I think we're kidding ourselves on that the English born players in the team all supported Scotland as a kid and wanted England to lose. It's just our luck they weren't picked for England. It would appear the "c***ts" some people are referring to are just the ones England got first. It's a lot of racist pish.
  2. and of course if Russell Martin had been called up by England he would have told them where to go.
  3. Give the league cup winners a European place and play the final before Christmas.
  4. Martin, Caulker, Hanley, Tierney (Robertson wide instead of Anya). We were weak at the back in the last campaign and it cost us. This looks more solid to me (if we get Caulker).
  5. I find I must agree with you in this matter.
  6. No mention of changes to the 7 performance schools. I hope these are going to produce players for the national team by the early 2020s.
  7. Stuart McCall, James Morrison blah blah blah.
  8. http://www.offthepostnews.co.uk/?p=8718 I can see the tug o' war headlines now...
  9. He needs to be capped before England get him.
  10. I'm unconvinced by him. He's far too slow, and can't beat a man. He has a good left foot although has he ever crossed a ball for us? I'd hope to see Ryan Fraser, Snodgrass and Forrest challenge for his position.
  11. Fletcher, Snodgrass and Dorrans did blaze a trail to the u19 Euro cup final and we all got quite excited, certainly more so than for a friendly against, say, Hungary. I'm all for fast tracking the best players but it depends on the circumstances surrounding each game. There's a lot to be said for a generation of talent bonding in a knock out tournament - against the very players they'll be facing in the years to come.
  12. If the u21s are trying to qualify for a finals where they'd get experience of international tournament football, it's probably better than 10 minutes in a friendly with the first team. Strachan brought Robertson almost straight into the full team because he was good enough, I suspect if others were good enough he'd have done the same.
  13. Low average height is a problem at set pieces unless your wee players are top class. It's time we started producing top class players then.
  14. He missed pre-season, so patience required. I don't think he is a wonder kid but he's got a chance.
  15. I thought that was Caledonian Craig! Now away and measure James MacArthur.
  16. It was a challenge which you have failed to meet.
  17. Sir, I applaud your indefatigability.
  18. He may not be tall enough for the Premier League (in the view of the managers) but he has the most technical ability in our squad by some way (I'm not saying he's our best player).
