For people going to The Gig On Saturday.......LUMBERJOCKS on stage at 1.30pm and TARTAN SPECIALS on stage at 2.30pm Will it be as good as the Gig at The Garage in London pre Wembley? Still tickets available at Ticket Scotland or Ticket Master [or direct from venue without a booking fee]

Tickets for the Tartan Specials gig at King Tuts available from the bar itself if you want to avoid booking fees......

As I said earlier, I tried to inform everybody as soon as I could via e-mail and facebook. I stupidly went to bed without going back on here and when I woke up and came back on here they were all gone. Sorry folks

I`ve had a few folk ask me at the WESTA meeting last night about another event being arranged for the 10th of November rather confusingly been billed as the `nicht afore` party. Since I can find no mention of it on social media I cannot comment other than to say that it has nothing to do with the event at Walkabout.....

This gig isn`t in an Irish Bar........

Just to echo what others said above a truly moving service on Friday as his family did him proud. I thought the Saltire coffin summed up one of the greatest guys I ever travelled with.......

How many cast members from the classic series are still alive?

Looking forward to a wee trip to Linlithgow on Saturday for our Junior Cup tie against the Rose. Unfortunately both teams are going through a bad patch but fingers crossed we get a result......

Same as last time in 2014 I have contacted the venue in advance and they are expecting 500 ish Tartan Army for a wee song and a dance.....

Hi All, in Graz in 2005 I worked out I didn`t need to carry boxes of vinyl all over the world and that I could actually DJ off my trusty laptop and the `Nicht Afore` perty was born. After the complete carnage of that long night [and words of praise from the weel known Tartan Army social media gurus `Flat Earth` and `Reeky Sporran`] these events have reached legendary status with highlights including an inflatable tent in Oslo and guerrilla gigs en route to games [Bruges and Brussels spring to mind] Incredibly, London will be the 50th time I have `organised` such an event before a Scotland away game and I can think of no finer venue than Temple Walkabout [on the banks of the River Thames right beside Temple Tube Station] where we had a great night before the friendly the last time we played at Wembley. As always, the `nicht afore` perty is always a great opportunity for the TA [and local based chums] to have a dance and a wee sing song from 8pm-2am. Feel free to invite chums of all nationalities and remember admission [as always] is FREE!!
