Yeah, I wouldn't really listen to the SFA on that. They don't have the best record with knowing when venues have been confirmed or not.

Don't we want as many Scots as possible in the stadium in Dublin too ? The three points there aren't worth any less than the three points at home.

I suspect a lot of points will be needed for this one, probably 5/6 plus. Ireland asked for 10,000 tickets for Celtic Park and were told no, they were only getting the minimum 5%. All such a ludicrous decision means is that we will only get 5% over in Dublin now, i.e. in the region of 2,500. If we had played ball and given them more tickets, it would certainly have been reciprocated. Instead, the SFA screw us over again.

To put it into perspective as to how quick the EU compensation thing can be, me and the missus had a BA flight from Dubai-Heathrow cancelled last year. Even though they put us on a later direct Emirates flight back to Glasgow, we still got 2 x 600 Euros compensation from BA and it was paid within a week. All depends on the airline, I suppose.

There was a train 20 mins later that took only 50 mins to get to Dusseldorf. We clocked from the scoreboard that the 1135 was going to stop at a million places, but the later train had only two stops. Not sure if our match tickets were valid on it (it was an IC train, not an ICE - no idea if there's a difference), but we got away with it. Not a guard in sight.

Thanks, great link - seems fairly straightforward. We were supposed to go Schipol-Utrecht-Dusseldorf, so it looks like we now need to get bus 300 from Schipol platform B5-B7 to Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena, where we get a train to Utrecht.

There's not that many pubs in Dortmund, couldn't get near any of them on match day the last time. The best bet was a carry-out in the old town square and then hide under a gazebo or something (off memory).

10% of the profit apparently, so we get £650k to add to his original £500k transfer fee. Add that to the £1.4m transfer fee plus £2m sell on fee we got for McCarthy, we've done pretty well for ourselves recently. Good job, as it helps offset our shite crowds.
