Stewart Regan has said on twitter it is unlikely we will play.

There us nothing to suggest it is Northern Ireland but it is a team close by who haven't confirmed anything, want to play one home game in November (on the Friday I believe) and are also sponsored by Vauxhall.

Currently doing overtime (to pay for the November game) but will post something tonight. Unfortunately not many decent options left.The one team sticking out without a game is Northern Ireland.

Scotland don't tend to play outside the FIFA calendar (apart from end of season). There are 2 international dates in November (Estonia are playing 3 friendlies). 2 dates in March End of season games. 1 date a few dates before Malta away. I wouldn't expect anymore than 7 games before Malta but could be as few as 3. If I were to guess I would expect us to play a total of 4 games between now and the Malta match...maybe 5.

All full international games count towards the FIFA Rankings.

International teams can play games any day of the year. However, clubs can refuse to release players on non international dates. As the leagues in Europe finish in May/ June it will be no problem to play end of May onwards.

No we wont - both are in the play offs.

Just noticed Hungary are likely to finish best 3rd place team so they may be available in November.

The play offs are in November - the same dates as the friendlies.

We don't have to beat Poland. 1 point v Poland and a win v Gib and if Ireland lose both their games then we get 3rd.

You don't have to play in the EPL to be "international class" I am sure Blackburn have had bids for him in the past but they turned him down. At the end of the day we don't have many options up front and Rhodes certainly knows where the goal is. Perhaps we should build the team round him rather than saying he doesn't fit WGS'S system.

International standard? What a lot of rubbish. San Marino have a player in their squad with 8 goals (more than any of our strikers) albeit has about 70 caps. Is he international standard? Rhodes will be 100 times better than him.

They can only send them out when the get them from the Gibraltar FA. Looks like they got them on Wednesday. It will take them a while to sort 8k tickets. I am sure they will be posted out early this week.

The Slovenia, Croatia and Macedonia games were good despite being out, however, if we lose to Poland on the Thursday and we are knocked out I will find it very hard to get up for Gibraltar. I will go either way but can't see it being a trip to remember. After we lost in Wales were travelled to Belgium via Amsterdam. The whole group were flat and found it really difficult to have a laugh. It was gutting and embarrassing to be the first uefa team to be out of the world cup.

That is almost certainly what they will do for the play off draw then!

They won't as they have already confirmed that will be decided by a draw.

They will probably pick a ball first from the seeded bowl and second from the unseeded for the first tie and then do it the reverse for the second tie. So the end outcome will be 2 seeded teams and 2 unseeded teams will play at home first.

They rarely do. It is very unusual for a Scotland away game to sell out.

Plenty fixtures on FIFA.com with some assuming they will qualify or miss out on the play offs. One home and one away is what I expect (last time we missed out on the play offs we played USA at home and Norway away).

Thankfully I have managed to keep 4.5 days back for November. Even if we dont make the play off I imagine two friendly games in November are quite likely.

If the allocation is say 1000 they offer it to the top 1000 using the points system. Once they have had their chance to buy it moves down the points levels until they are sold out (or not as it is for most games).
