I will take your bet! As wanderer says about France already have their March games confirmed - so do Italy, England, Spain, Liechtenstein, Germany and the Netherlands.
"The UEFA EURO 2020 qualifying draw will be held after the completion of the UEFA Nations League and allow for the four UEFA Nations League Final Four participants to be drawn into groups of five teams"This is in relation to the final four participants. This is not to do with the play offs. The nations league will have an overall winner (from league A) - when the final four meet in June 2019. All this is saying that these four teams will be kept apart in the Euro qualifying draw and they will go into one of the six groups of five teams rather than the four groups of six teams.
Absolutely. One of the big things about qualifying is the atmosphere with all the fans in the host county. Having 2 home games and an away game doesnt sound all that great. Saying that I just want to qualify.
Malta will be tough. It will be no Gibraltar that's for sure. Just have a look at their results in the last campaign and you will see.
We need to win, we should win but anyone who thinks we will hammer them will be disappointed...Unfortunately.
The tournament will still have the same number of teams (24) with 4 slots for the Nations League and 20 for the Euro qualifying.
Can you give me a link to that article please?
It would take me a long time to reply in full but basically every league will have a team qualify directly (including the bottom league which the weakest European teams will be in). As such Scotland should take this very seriously. Also when the league games are being played no one will have qualified yet (as the qualifiers are after the league is finished).
I will be paying close attention to England,Slovakia and Slovenia (if they qualify). I have some friends from Croatia so will be interested in how they get on too.
Personally I have no interest in going to the tournament. I will keep my money and annual leave for any Scotland games pre and post tournament.
No there are a few teams.
However, we are the only country in the FIFA top 80 (who has a manager) not playing in November. Finland and Israel are also not playing but dont have a manager and Bulgaria are having a get together but are also strongly linked to a game with Alabnia.
I would like to see a reduction in ticket priced and would also like to see prices set differently per opponent. I doubt we will see much change from £50 for the England ticket.
I think £25 would be fair for a game v Lithuania and Malta with £30 for Slovenia and Slovakia with £40 for England.
I think the prices are likely to be higher than that though.
Almost half the SSC do not go to away games at all and more than two thirds very rarely go but are still prepared to pay £45/£50/£55 for a membership.
As a regular traveller and someone who goes to youth and women's internationals the SSC membership well and truely pays for itself. I paid £45 for my membership but must have had well over £100 worth of savings so I will be more than happy to renew at a similar price to before.
