Must have been still making it. I went past again about 2pm and it was complete and intact. Loads of people stopping to take photos of it. I know a couple of Bitters whose houses look directly out to this - they must be in turmoil.

No sympathy for him. He's a cretin who thinks he can say what he likes and offend who he likes. GG might have TV and the media to espouse his views but most people only have a chance meeting in the street to do so. Seems this person took their chance to teach him a lesson on bearing responsibility for his actions.

Can we expect eggstraordinary renditions as part of a Westminster clampdown?

This caused chaos with the traffic around the west end this morning. All the airport bound busses were diverted and trams were stopped (even though it didn't affect westbound traffic directly). I reckon there's a transport turf war breaking out. Expect the rickshaws to get involved soon.

In the Yes shop in Bruntsfield you can actually purchase a Yes shopping trolley (like the ones yer granny used to take to the Spar store in the 70s).
