  1. I'm back to worrying about us being able to put the ball in the net. Scott Brown. 😇
  2. Telt ye. Regardless of fairness, the face 'in charge' will be a target.
  3. Giving 'The Sieve' another chance and failing to win the first leg?
  4. Aberdeen FC Paying our taxes since 19-0-three The Granite City Reds Continue to be... Debt free... Debt free... Oh, debt freeeeeeeeee....
  5. We should do a sweep. In what season will Sevco be debt free and earn their first penny? I'll go first... ...NEVER!!! WON'T HAPPEN!!!
  6. Anti-clockwise? We would have started one earlier but we were busy in Europe.
  7. "Ange Postecoglou finally got the chance to see the true extent of the rebuild job he faces at this afternoon as Celtic were embarrassed 6-2 by a West Ham side who recently drew 2-2 with Dundee."
  8. Yep. A penalty on 20 minutes and a red on 30 minutes (for example) would change everything.
  9. It is, but we still have to put in a professional performance. As DD implies, an early goal would definitely allow us to rest some players at halftime, and also allow us to rotate the squad (and get more minutes in the legs that need them). There'd also be an opportunity to try a different formation in the second half with a 4 or 5 goal lead.
  10. Aye. He seemed lost on Considine's goal from the corner. (Not sure he'd be stopping a powerful, close range, free header, anyway.)
  11. 'Decent' or top class? (The boy has been capped by Sweden btw.) Point is that Aberdeen were well worth their 5 goals.
  12. I think they actually were, but thankfully turned out we could play at a level higher. It was the unknowns of not seeing our (new) team play together and not knowing the (likely) formation, combined with having only 2 friendlies under our belt and Hacken already being 12 games into their season (with a new manger bounce) that had many of us thinking that the tie could come down to the wire. The tie being almost all but over after the first leg is both a dream and a relief.
  13. He flapped a couple of times, but which of the 5 goals should he have prevented?
