We have booked Edinburgh-Amsterdam-Malta on the Friday and back the same way on the Tuesday. All KLM. Not exactly cheap but the cheapest I could find now without having to go half round Europe!

For 4 of us we have been quoted 30 euros each way but that is through hotel which is 2 minutes from Old Town Square. We are the same we don't arrive until after 10pm and can't be bothered with public transport at that time of night and we are on the 06.25 am flight back on the Sunday morning so it was easier just to book this through hotel

4 nights Ai Quattro Angeli - stayed there before and only 2 minutes from Old Town Square

4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids) Glasgow-Amsterdam-Prague, Wed 23rd with KLM and back the same way early Sunday morning. Worked out £200 cheaper this way than going direct

Thanks Wubbs for all the great tips and advice. We have booked taxi service through hotel, used them last time as well, and they wanted paid in American Dollars!! When I contacted them and said I could pay in either local currency or Sterling they changed this and want it paid in Euros but can pay for the room in local currency!!

Anything for the Friday or Saturday would be interested as one of the kids coming with us goes to all the ice hockey games in Dundee and he's right into it. A shame we don't arrive until after 10pm on the Wednesday or would have taken him to that

Thanks Scott, I know there is a McD's round from our hotel and from memory this closed around 10 ish. Nothing specific just to get the kids a burger or the like, doesn't have to be sit down as we are only 2 minute walk from Old Town Square so can take this back to hotel. Don't want to head as far as Wen Square at that time as the kids will be a bit shattered (ok we will be shattered lol) as we are leaving here around 8ish in the morning and don't land until after 10 at night. We are taking the kids with us this time (aged 10 and 11) and don't arrive until around 10.30 pm on the Wednesday night. I have organised the hotel to pick us up so we are fine there - get to hotel around 11.30ish. The hotel is just round the corner from the Old Town Square (stayed here before). Anybody know if there will be anyplace near where we can get something to eat more so for the kids. I know there used to be a McD's just up from the hotel but don't think this was open at that time. It doesn't have to be a sit down meal but a burger and chips would do. Many thanks x

The 2 of us have been selected as well and we both on 7 points (none of them harvested!!!). We are leaving next Friday for a few days in Krakow first so this suits us as we know we will definitely have them for game.

2 of us on the Warsaw flight as well but we are back on the Saturday morning practically straight after game

We are in the Mirobelle Hotel, they offer hotel transfers for around £15 for the 2 of us return so not too bad. In stupid o'clock Thursday morning and leave again stupid o'clock Saturday morning, be back to hotel, grab the bags and away again after game. The last time we were there is up there as one of the best trips ever out of all the trips that we have done, hopefully be like that again this time. Really looking forward to it

Make that 5 as 2 of us out on the Wednesday night 10.30 flight into Tbilisi. We are having a few days in Krakow first, Saturday until Wednesday, train from Krakow to Warsaw Wednesday lunchtime ish back to Warsaw on the stupid o'clock flight Saturday morning, train back to Krakow, another night there and fly home Sunday
