  1. I would suggest that they should form a Yes Alliance for Westminister elections but fight as separate parties in Holyrood. Not sure how it would work in practice, but I would imagine that there would be more to Unite them at Westminister level(those parties are broadly Anti-War, Anti-Trident, Lower Defence spending, Pro-Indy)
  2. Over the last day or so I have tried to put a positive spin on the result, but no longer. We heard that during the Yes Campaign should condemn the cybernats and those who intimidated voters, tonight we see real violence by No supporters and we hear nothing from Better Together or the parties that where part of the Campaign. We in Scotland continually shy away from dealing with Sectarian strain of British Unionism which is personified by the Orange Lodge and some Rangers supporters, after tonight we can't use the excuse that is just a football problem or a minority. We need to tackle it head on and make sure that it is eradicated from our Society.
  3. The guys was a staunch No, he is ex-army involved with the Union Bears. Everything I have seen from him was anti-Salmond or anti-SNP, I am genuinely shocked that he has moved over to yes. Here is another comment he has made "Been arguing with myself for a while. You know me mate I've always classed myself as Scottish and British, I fought for both when I was in the army Now I'm fighting for Scotland. For a chance to see what we can do. But aye the wine helped "
  4. Wow, this is from another staunch No'er on my facebook. If a guy like this, today can come across to Yes then we maybe could just do it "For the majority of the past two years, I've argued the no campaign. Always seen strength in the union. I've got red, white and blue in my blood. But as I got in the lift at work like I do everyday, and it took me up and I looked out over my fair city. And thought to myself, this could all be ours, it is all ours why are we letting our neighbours dictate how much we get to spend on our way of life. It's our money and our country. We may never get another chance like this in our lifetime. We could come to regret not taking that chance. The chance to stand on our own two feet, heads held high like the proud Scots we are. Hope is what's driving the yes campaign, hope that we can go it alone. Hope that we can make Scotland a fairer and more just society. Hope will bring us all together not drive us apart. And it's with hope that I'll vote today ‪#‎voteyes‬ ‪#‎indyref‬"
  5. Some photos that I took today https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10152718706249920.1073741832.705114919&type=1&l=b69015fdda Hopefully you'll be able to access them.
  6. I would love to have heard their arguments, if I knew they where coming around would have taken the stickers down and invited them in for a cup of tea.
  7. I live in Shawlands, had about 12 'activists' coming round the streets. They didn't chap my Door as I have Yes stickers plastered on the Windows.
  8. Program by Silver Apples. Sounds like it was recorded last week but was recorded in 1968.

  10. Here is a post from one of my FB friends, he was a staunch No and I am surprised and delighted he has moved to Yes. "I'm coming out of the closet Facebook. Again. Yes this is bound to encourage some well deserved suspicion, criticism and polemic discourse. But that's OK, I can handle it. As some one who has supported a definite and confident 'No' vote for a long time, I am finding it increasingly difficult to support the sort of Britain I believe in. My values and principles, when considered and internally wrestled with, no longer coinside with one side of this debate, I have come to a simple conclusion: I'll be voting Yes. badger it, why not. See you at the party. Xxx"
  11. http://wingsoverscotland.com/never-knowingly-unhysterical/ The Rev sums it up perfectly. Believe me, the abuse in indyref is small fry compared to what has been happening in the Games Industry over the last month or so.
