  1. With the gradual disintegration of the UK, what will all the Orange Order boys and their brain dead followers of rangers do when there is a referendum in NI? As catholic families tend to be larger, in the next 10, 20 years or so the catholic population will outnumber the protestants by some considerable amount. As these will probably lean towards supporting Sinn Fein, or another independence type party, if there happens to be a vote for uniting Ireland there will probably be a majority voting yes. Will the idiots that were in George Square the other night, and their low IQ fore fathers and mothers pack up and head over there to sing there good old "Last night of the proms" songs? Or will there be a big influx of more idiots to these shores? Will the English parliament fight so hard to keep hold of NI as it did with Scotland, or will they put up token resistance, and let ROI have it, unconditionally? Would ROI even want to take back NI? Or would they put conditions on that all the orange arseholes have to be shipped out? Well, as it is england who are deciding on the future of the UK. Let them have the fuckwits.
  2. I've just returned from Dortmund. Drove out last friday, drove back monday. Had passport checked at the ferry terminal both ends of the journey. Drove from France, into Belgium, crossing the border several times. Then from Belgium to Germany, via Holland. Return journey was the reverse route. Not one check point or border control anywhere. The other year went to Slovenia via Italy. Same thing. Although a small checkpoint at the border, it was unmanned. Nothing will change after the 18th, unless BT/rUK are sooking soor plooms.
  3. Nice to see you again Pam, but I have made a note to self, never to travel with you. Wrong airport in Warsaw. Airport closures. Motorways closed. Can you let us know well in advance next time what your routes are, so we can all plan different routes.
  4. Can't argue with that, but prior to going over there were many posts on here about Dusseldorf being better than Dortmund for bars and pubs. After the match whilst a load of people were planning to head back to Dusseldorf for a party, we were already having ours in Dortmund. And only a 10 minute stroll back to the hotel. Regardless. Was a great weekend. And I'm sure most of us enjoyed ourselves. Where ever we stayed.
  5. Nothing wrong with Dortmund. Great night on the saturday and sunday. Got on one of the first trams back after the game. Square wasn't that busy. Only tables we could use were the ones just outside the bars. Put my glass on one table in the main big seating area and a waiter told me off, as they had just cleaned it up, and that if I sat on the chair more people would do it, and there were plenty of chairs outside the bar. Ten minutes later he couldn't undo his seats quick enough as a few hundred more appeared. I would rather have been stood there with a pint that on a train back to somewhere else.
  6. I don't like the last minute rush to get to the stadium, and miss the anthems, panic to find seats etc. So tend to try and get in a bit earlier. I wish I could tell the time in German. I knew it was 7:45 ko UK time. So was surprised to see the ground empty when Wrighty and I got in to our "correct" seats, at 7:15 German time. At least we got to the front of the Bratwurst queue and drinks queue before the crowd arrived. And had sobered up a bit by the time the game started. Overall an excellent trip.
  7. Is that one of your Rathkeel Travellers or a normal touristy type traveller?
  8. Tam, can you give a big shout out to Jimmies Lassie on sunday, and play this one for her.
  9. That's as much inconvenience as having to collect the ticket. If someone with SSC ticket doesn't turn up to "check in", what's going to happen? A letter to ask why they didn't sign the register?. Oh, my flight was late and I only had 10 minutes to kick off. Send in hotel receipts please. OK. Pre book a hotel on E-bookers and print of the copy then cancel the room. Get a mates receipt.Too easy to frig the system. The reason folks are moaning about collection this time, is that they have decided to stay in Dusseldorf, and aren't getting a free train journey. Fecking tough. Game is in Dortmund. Always has been. Its good that the Germans put the free transport on. But because it doesn't fit in with some peoples travel/party arrangements, they can't look for a scapegoat and blame the SSC.
  10. She knows. I've already sent her a text. Dear Mrs Strap, can Del Boy come out to play. Please.
  11. Two more, before I start travelling, then another two before reaching Dortmund. Hotel vouchers printed and packed. Ferry tickets printed and packed. Passport checked and packed. Match Tickets checked and packed. All at least three times a day in case missus "puts them in a safe place".
  12. Allegedly, according to Ed, not a great deal.
  13. Damnation. I was hoping that he'd forgotten about him. Looked like a Craig Levein line up in the first paper, full of midfielders and no forwards.
  14. What do you want to know Bruce? What time does the 11:30 train from Dusseldorf leave on sunday?
  15. Theres only 20 of them, and I can't see Thomas Muller on the list. Thank Fek
  16. Now that there are only 7 of us. Can I be Mod 1?
  17. Will, am flying to Dublin on the 9th at 0630 with Uncle Ian and returning evening of 10th. Got a b&b booked about 1/2 mile from ground on the wed nite.

We dont need attacking midfield players. We have plenty off them already,in Morrison,Dorrans,Commons when he gets back into Celtic team, and Naismith to at Gers. Its midfield bully boys we need, big defensive midfielder who are anthletic and strong.Who can get round the park and tackle, and shut play down. When we want to park the bus. When we are winning against a better team.Look at the Denmark game, when we lost Fletcher in it.We had to hang on,as they took a grip there.Cowie done a good shift aga...
