  1. Yeah, it's clear he learned a lot from his time at the Saints and he talks very favourably of that spell. I remember seeing him back then and you could tell he was a player, but didn't think for a minute he would go as far as he has. An absolute power of hard work has gone in to getting him where he is today.
  2. Great watch. Just a pity they referred to that goal v Sheffield Wednesday but never included it!
  3. IMO too big a risk to take. In time, you'd think the SSC/UEFA would check through bookings and see tickets match the names of those who codes were sent to. Would be a real shame if their tickets got cancelled....
  4. Imagine the conversations up and down the country tonight. "Honey, I should hopefully be able to get on and buy a ticket for the Scotland games tomorrow" "Oh, thats super." "You okay with that?" "Of course" "It's just..." "Uhu?" "One of the games, the tickets that are left are quite dear..." "Thats okay. How much?" "Emm.... £600..." "SIX FUCKING WHIT!!" Cue divorce papers being drawn up 🤣
  5. Usually just a way of fleecing an extra buck or two out of folk. Possibly when they're charging folk 600 Euro a ticket they decided there was no need!
  6. Done!!!! To save any panicking, I assume when others click in to their "My Tickets" its blank, but you can see it in Order History?
  7. I nearly posted something like this but didn't think folks nerves could handle it haha
  8. Stupid useless incompetent bastards. Lots of us questioned why codes were coming out at 1030 when the sale took place 90 mins later. Why not yesterday, Monday, Sunday? Why cut it so close? Could see something like this coming a mile away. Useless.
  9. That's mine through for both me and the wee man. That's one drama over.
  10. Been very curious about the breakdown, so interesting to see. Thanks.
  11. Would love to do Amsterdam again, possibly my favourite Scotland trip ever. Next year already expensive enough though from a fitba travel pov!
  12. If true, can't understand that. Sending out 10,000 codes by email is bound to lead to some taking longer than others to make it through. Why risk someone's arriving late - send it the day before surely?
  13. They lost the opening game at their last tournament. And the opener before that. And the opener before that...
  14. Listened to last night's Scottish Football Podcast on my run. Interestingly Ian Maxwell confirmed we had a friendly with Switzerland arranged and will now have to go and seek another opponent. A good clue as to the level we are seeking though. If we can find someone similar- a smaller nation who regularly reach the group stages of tournaments - they'd prove ideal preparation for our pot 2 and 4 opponents.
  15. People who are that desperate for tickets should have made more games, like the guys who are getting tickets. And that's not even snobbery, it's just fact- we all knew this was going to be the system if we qualified. Not sure why folk are desperate to change it
  16. Absolutely buzzing with that draw. Bayern Munich's stadium! Opening game vs the worst Pot 1 team in there. A nervy tense affair that we can make really difficult for them. Would have taken anyone from the other two pots bar Italy. We are getting out the group!
  17. That's the one stadium I've said I would definitely go for behind the goals seats. Imagine.
  18. Heading to the pub after Killie v Hearts to catch it. Excited!
  19. The point of accumulating points is, well firstly to go to the games and support Scotland, but to give you the best shout at acquiring tickets for any given game. Never, anywhere, in the SSC T&Cs has it ever mentioned getting to choose your price point for big games before anyone else, so not sure why folk suddenly seem shocked this isn't a thing. The whole process with UEFA is complicated enough. Having the usual phased process to tickets sales would only further complicate things. Much easier just to look at who's all definitely eligible and just fire them all on sale at the same time. All going to be moot anyway as I'm sure if you're on for midday sharp you'll get tickets at whatever price you want.
  20. What's the problem with a 24 hour window? Seems ample time I'm hoping to have my tickets sewn up by 12.10!
  21. Still no idea what's happening with this. I see in the latest SSC email that we've to make sure the email address for our account and our child's account differ, which I've just logged in and done. This is because they're going to email individual codes so it needs to be separate email addresses.
  22. Need to hope I can pick up a Fans First ticket for the final, fuck paying €1000 to watch Scotland...
